I am prepping to open up Knightmare Cove! 🖤
My public shop opens the 17th, but I am aiming to open Knightmare Cove the 15th and that means slipping everyone access to the public shop before then. I have my plate super full with projects so if I can't get it up by the 15th I'll give y'all the heads up! (I am still waiting on White Squirrel to do inventory on boxes I sent some weeks ago.)
If I can open the 15th my plan is for Hex Hellions and Decal Demons to get access the 14th at 9...

The first frame is hand drawn and inked on watercolour paper, then I take it into a program to fix up the things I didn't see before (usually by flipping the canvas copiously), and move on from there. c:

Waves & Babes!! I swear every month I am like "this sticker is my favourite," and this still stands true. I love this sticker so much, and I am so excited to see her with all the holographic bits! The second sticker for July I will reveal asap, I just want to make sure she's perfect. (I think August will be one of the other favourite sketches from July's ideas 👀!!)

So I am getting some gengar washi tape made! I had only initially intended to turn Gengarden into a design but I really couldn't resist doing a roll of somewhat cursed Gengars. Long Gengar. 👁👄👁 Gengar. Elmo with fire in the background but Gengar instead. Swol Gengar. Idk y'all. It seemed like a good idea at the time. They might be a one time washi roll and then deleted forever lmao. Or maybe I'll think they were a good idea one day after all and offer a sticker pack. 😂

I found a treasure trove of old work while cleaning my house this weekend and, well, I thought it'd be fun to share with you all the remnants of my middle school art ('04 - '06) and my junior year of high school in '09. My weapon of choice was most typically some sort of computer paper and a BIC .7 mechanical pencil when I wasn't using watercolour and ink in High School.

Was messing around with the markers and liners Arteza sent me! Instagram memories tossed up an oldie that I have always loved and I was inspired to do some Poison Ivy goodness again. I just edited her up a bit in Photoshop. c; Here's the sketch that inspired me (done with copics) from June 2018:

I did this piece last year in May. I don’t know why but it’s been on my mind lately. Maybe it’s the colours. I took it into Procreate a few nights ago and I’ve been chipping away at it whenever I’m up late and restless. I think I miss the chaos of the original but I’m trying to replicate that dreamy copic on paper feel. ♡
I downloaded this pencil for procreate way back when called 'Max U Sketchy Sarmento' and it's probably the most realistic pencil brush I have used to date. So I'm going to start doing more digital sketchbook stuff to try and get more used to doing more digital things. I know I am still so very clumsy with making my digital work feel like my traditional work.

Curled up with my sketchbook last night still thinking about what sort of pattern I want to roll out for my first mask on Threadless! And well I'd already had my heart set on a Gengar pattern so: Gengar Garden. I'll probably take this into procreate or photoshop later today to turn it into a seamless pattern.
