I was struggling to get the pacing and panel count to work on the next page, when it suddenly ocurred to me that, since I needed to update the text in panel 5 anyway, I could basically move the first panel of page 53 back to 52. Tightens everything up nicely and I think adds a lot to this page as well.

I can't tell whether this one is done or not, but I've spent far too long working on it, so I'm sharing it now (I want focus on the next page). I think Ellie and the suspension rigging is fine, it's the background graphics I'm iffy about. Not sure how I feel. Too bright? To dark? Too cartoonish? I just need to look at it for a while and decide. *grumbles in artist*

Birthday Update!

Hello everyone!

I was out of town this past weekend for some family stuff and Yesterday was my Birthday, so I took the week to relax a little, tighten up the script, write out more of the next chapter, and scribble some rough page designs. Decided to color this image as I need to work on my coloring and had a bit of fun along the way. Began to wonder how this would would work as a game and it is now an SCP comedy survival horror. Has inspired a lot of ideas! Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

This page has been dogging me for the past week and a half, mostly because I wasn't sure how I wanted the center panel to play. I may still play with it a but, but for now it is time to move on! hope to have the next page done in a few days. :)

Mistress wanted a show

I ended up flipping the canvas for this one, which explains why Meg's hair is reversed. I'll get around to fixing it, but I wanted to share the image now. I may have gone overboard with the boot, but hey, this one is for fun, so if I can't make mistakes now, when can I? ;) Overall, I'm quite pleased.

I'm pretty sure I've said it before, but the input I get from all of you is like a cheat code. A few of you pointed out that I'd forgotten the leash in multiple panels and that the chair didn't look particularly safe. I've made the fixes and I'm very pleased with the results. I also have two different versions of page 45 with the updated panel 1. I added some action lines as well as a fish-eyed lens filter to one of them. I'm not sure how I feel about it. Working on some other bonus material and a few pages that come a bit later in the chapter as I'm fixing a slight hiccup I found in the script last week. ^^; Fixable, just needs a bit of time to solve. Expect some fun stuff this week! :)

UPDATE: HOME!

We're safe! While the fire is still burning, our zone has been declared safe. The fire has been moving away which has created a natural fire break and the wind has cleared out the smoke from our zone. It's...very surreal. Just walking around, you'd barely know there was a wild fire at all (barely).

We're staying alert of course, but I just put my computer back together, so I'm gonna try and destress, have some fun drawing. We'll see what I come up with. I have quite a few fun sket...

Wild Fire Evacuation

As mentioned in a previous post, there is a wild fire in our area so we have evacuated in hopes that things will die down over the weekend. Just checked fire watch alerts and things have only gotten worse. It is now the largest arson fire in California history. So…yeah, not sure when my next post will be. staying with family. I have my computer and files, so that’s all good, but no place to work. was hoping to go home on Monday, but that may not be happening. Will keep you updated....
