We made some progress!...

...I can already feel my drawing skills returning! Wish I could just finish the page but I gotta go to work. Let’s see how much we can square away tomorrow!

... Not my ideal set up but I’ll take it! Gonna be a little while before I get my drawing hand back, but I think we can look forward to a new page this week! 🎉

Weekly Update 12.16.2019...

…I am back from my business trip and back to unpacking. I found my missing computer cords so I can finally get my work space set up today!!! It’s the kitchen table for now, but who cares?! I get to work on BLACK LABEL again (I hope I remember how to draw)!

So I was going to write this really long, detailed post telling you all about the drama that happened but it was stressing me out (the full story would have taken up an entire subreddit) so I’m just going to give you a brief ove...

...hopefully I’ll be back to drawing before weeks end, but man oh man does it feel weird to not post (or draw for that matter). So for a bit of fun I went into the archive and found some early work. Thought I’d share some. Hope it doesn’t scare you off!

Moved out!...

...and there was a parade in front of the house. No warning. Terrible timing. That happened on Sunday so I can laugh about it now. 🤣

At the new apartment in a forest of cardboard boxes. The only internet is on my phone, so pardon any spelling errors. I miss drawing and posting but hope to get my work space up and running by Friday.

Today we assemble the kitchen. Tomorrow I’m hoping we can get the bookcases up. That’ll eliminate a lot of boxes.

Moving update...

...so glad I’m not moving far. About halfway moved out, then I gotta get things organized. Not sure how long it’ll take to get things up and running again, but I wanted to let you know things are going about as well as they can. Next post will be my weekly Update on Monday. I’ll see you all then!

Quick update...

...I’d forgotten how much time and energy moving takes. Lots of things to take care of and it’s taking most of my time, so I don’t expect to finish a page this week. Sorry bout that. Hoping to return to my normal schedule next week. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up.

In other news, the next couple of pages are gonna be a lot of fun and I plan to have my big moving story posted for you next week, so lots to look forward to. Chat soon!

Moving right along...

...biggest panel is lined and the base tones are in. I’m a little worried that I made the ropes too thick. Thinner rope gives a tighter impression in my mind. We’ll see how I feel about it tomorrow after I get some sleep. 😅

Weekly Update 12.02.2019...

...The busy Holiday season kicks into high gear with the first week of December! Where did the year go?!

For everyone that celebrated Thanksgiving last week, I hope you had a good time with friends and family. To everyone else, I hope you also had a great day! :)

My wife and I are moving to a new apartment next weekend so I’ll be dedicating a lot of time to packing, but still hope to have the next page done by Wednesday (detailed sketches are pretty much done).

...coming together nicely! Still needs a lot of work, but hey, I’m learning.

Seri’s actual story is getting interesting. Interesting like...”is this an H comic or isn’t it?” kind is interesting. World building is fun!

...of Seri LaVash casting a spell. I’ll be honest, Seri is still in early development. First she was a Cleric, then a fighter, then a sorceress...I’m have not yet figured out her final form. She is what I need her to be for now, but we’ll get her squared away eventually. 😅
