[0.2] Progress Update

Hey hey!

As you can see, work on Episode Two is already well underway. The first scene, where you arrive in town to challenge Regina to a duel, is complete. This scene can play out in different ways with varying gameplay depending on your choices. If you make the right decisions, you’ll be able to sneak in and enjoy some bonus dialogue. Otherwise, you’ll face a series of animated QTEs (similar to the slow-motion arrow aiming at Sylvia in Episode 1). And if you fail one of these QTEs...

[0.1] Progress Update

Hey hey !

The story for this episode (renders, dialogues, etc.) is finally complete! I still have a bit of translation left to do, and then I can move on to the “missing pieces” (UI elements, intro, credits, final checks, etc.). Most of it is done now, and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. If all goes well, the game should be ready for release by the holiday season!

Before going any further, I'd like to thank everyone who supported the project. I know that many people are sad that it's already over, but as I've said I don't want to drag the story out unnecessarily and stick to what I'd planned at the start in order to avoid inconsistencies and it becoming boring/repetitive.

So far I haven't had much feedback on this final episode, I was expecting a bit more than the previous ones, but that's not the case. Maybe it's because this time...

As you can see, the moment you've all been waiting for is fast approaching! I've finished updating the old renders/animations (at least the ones I thought were critical to redo) and I've almost finished updating the gallery, even if it took me the whole weekend...

I've finished implementing the achievement system, and I've even managed to make the achievements retroactive, which means you'll only have to load your most advanced saves to unlock them. The epilogue is almost finished, I just need to make a few small adjustments and add 2-3 extra renders. It currently contains 26 animations and 906 images, so it's quite a piece!

So I've still got two big steps to complete before the patch is released:
