Big scene is big.

Work is moving along fairly well on the big "final" scene of the first day. I've added around an additional 150 images since the last update, which doesn't seem like much, but due to various reasons, it takes a bit longer to produce each image, though each one is now assigned to cover 2 to 3 lines of dialogue on average instead of 1 like in the NSFW. That means those 150 images represent a decent amount of story telling.

More sideways progression, but some that should help out in the end. I had managed to get a whole 24 images done, which really doesn't seem like much, but that also includes finding and lighting a new location, as well as updating an old one a bit. Those 24 images were actually enough to finish 2 little segments leading up to the big one I've been talking about, so I started to scout for a map for the next part.

Okay... they're not, but I couldn't come up with a title, so...

Let's choose a hairstyle for Regina! Pretty simple... I stumbled onto a style I thought might work a bit better for her because I was worried her hair was too similar to what I gave her mom (Tiffany), but after looking at them, they're really not all that similar so I figured I'd just leave the choice up to you... should I go with the original or the updated style?

The scene I've been dreading is just about ready to go. All the players are ready to go, I just need to get the locations in order and write all the parts I haven't yet. I have enough to get started on the first part of it, so at least I can pose some of it, then take a break and get the next location ready, then go back to posing for a while.

The newest one-off is finally here! Sorry this update is a bit later than normal, but I wanted to wait until I finished the one-off and it ended up taking longer than I had anticipated, and I really don't know why.

I finished up the second class and transitional scene to the third. I also finished making the location for the third class which was... one of the dumbest processes I've ever managed to pull off.

Basically, I found a map I liked the look of, but I needed to remove things inside the room. I did that and found that, for some reason, the shadows of the objects I disabled were still visible on the walls and floor. So... I put new walls up in front of the old ones, as well as the ceiling so...

It's getting close to the time where I take a break from cursing the god of lighting and bust out a new one-off in the Masters of the Ring timeline.

I have a few ideas in mind, so I'll leave it up to you to decide which one sees the light of day first!

Finally, forward progress.

I finished the first of three class scenes for the first day, and I've written several more first passes at some scenes down the line. Things are still evolving as they go, as usual, since I'm still writing most of the story on the fly. I know certain story beats I want to hit, but getting there is a constantly evolving process.

I've been finding that while posing a scene or rewriting something I haven't fully fleshed out, I'll all the sudden have an idea for a sexy scene somewhere down...

The learning curve is real.

I haven't had as much time as normal to work on things lately due to real life obligations getting in the way, and what I did manage to get done, I'm going to redo. Once again, more issues reared their heads, though this time the new skin shaders aren't directly the problem, it's the lighting that goes along with them.

Basically, HS2 (with all the mods) has two different types of lighting and only one of them works with the shaders I'm using (if you use the other the skin is black). The...

Just about back to where I was.

I almost have the intro/first scene redone so I can get back to forward progress starting tomorrow. I have convinced myself to just do what I can instead of trying to make everything perfect or else I'll never get anything done. To that end, I'm still making little adjustments along the way, but I'm just trying to keep things as consistent as possible.

We have a winner over on SubscribeStar. The correct answer was "Strange Brew." I don't know why, but I have always loved that movie and still get as much enjoyment out of watching it today as I did back in my younger years.

Here we are again with another contest! The prize this time is a familiar one: You get to pick a character you'd like to see me do a photoshoot for, and I'll do the rest. Time for something different.

I've spent a lot of time in the last few days adjusting sliders and tattoos and other small details to bring everything into line with the new persistent (I hope) lighting settings. Nothing real difficult, but time consuming and tedious to say the least.

Anyway, it's been several days of learning a new engine and more importantly, learning the ins and outs of new skin shaders. The new shaders look better, but that comes with the price of learning how the shaders interact with different lighting, and how to deal with the changes they make ...
