This month, a Patron (Phil) joined my Patreon here. He started at the $3 tier but every time I posted a NUUUD, Phil would edit his pledge to $25 or $50, presumably to see said NUUUUD, and then edit it back down to $3.

He did this like.. 4 times? Then deleted his pledge, so I never recieved any income from him. As you probably know, pledge money gets deducted from your cards on the first of the month. Phil joined after Feb 1st. 

I blocked him so he can't continue to do that. ...

Surgery scheduled

My TMR/Myodesis surgery is scheduled for Feb 10th. I am in some ways looking forward to it - THE END OF THE DAMN PAIN... but I am also not looking forward to 6 weeks of no prosthesis and having to heal all over again. I have nerve pain and it kind of feels like there are muscles pulled in my limb at the end medially. I am not sure why but I am glad that those isses will be solved. MY surgeon's specialty is primary TMR/Myodesis and correction of problems with residual limbs.

Whoops my leg fell off

Today I went to the mall with my husband and son because my husband wanted a hockey jersey for his birthday. I decided to wear a sundress, leggins (with the left leg cut off) and these double zip Ugg boots that I got the other day from eBay. 

I must have forgotten that I spend 3 seasons in sandals and 1 season in very breathable shoes for a reason. Those Ugg boots are HOT. As in too warm. Add a mask to that and the extra effort it takes for me to walk in my AK leg and I was in the ...

Damn surgeries blah

I talked to a surgeon who does TMR (targeted muscle reinnervation) and it sounds like I’m going to have to go that route to get my nerve pain and leg pain under control. I DO NOT want to have another surgery. But my femur is poking me in the femoral nerve and continues to give me problems. I’ll probably have a myodesis done at the same time. That’s where they anchor the muscles to the bone. Yay me?

First leg fitting went.. ok

I got to try on a loaner leg yesterday! Aaaaand it was mostly a failure. I am still waiting for insurance to approve my parts. The knee was a $50 knee from ebay that did not seem to work right, and using my leg caused this nerve in my nub to become really irritated and it felt like I was getting a cramp/electric shocks in my nonexistent meat knee. I am not sure what to do about that and it's very dissapointing. I might have to have another procedure to ablate or remove that nerve, I don't kno...

Our Swimsuit calendar got blocked by Zazzle!

A few months ago I was invited to participate in a swimsuit calendar. The woman who was organizing it created it so that it could be used to raise money for Models of Diversity - an organization designed to show that people with disabilities can be models. 

But Zazzle restricted it to users 18+, so only people with verified accounts could look at it. This defeats the purpose as most people don't have a Zazzle account. When asked why they said it was because our calendar featured sw...

Next video coming soon

I'm going to start posting YT videos on a regular schedule, hopefully! Probably on Tuesday. Anyway, my next video is one we shot at Eckert's Fun Farm. It mostly shows the ways I get around without a leg, including using my wheelchair, freewheel, and hopping around in hay bale forts and such. It's about 4 minutes long.

Swimsuit photoshoot!

Today my other disabled friend and I did a swimsuit photoshoot on top of/with a Lamborghini Countach. It was originally for another project that is going to use 3 of the pics but we took TONS of great pics!! I can't wait to show you the results. Stay tuned.

Thinking about phantom sensations

hospital update

Well, the last day has been HELL. I will be posting a video about it soon, once I am finished editing it. 

At some point in the past day a muscle in the top of my leg became unbearably painful and crampy. If I did not move around at all, it was okay, but as soon as I tried to move it would lock up and hurt like hell. This made doing the simplest things like moving around in bed or going to the bathroom an ordeal. Thankfully it's better now and the pain is more tolorable. It was tak...

It’s tomorrow

Today is the last day I’ll have two meat knees. I’m preparing by washing my bedding, making a ridiculous video, and spending time with my son. I hate that I have to be away from him while I’m in the hospital, but I’m lucky that I work from home and get to spend lots of time with him. To say we are attached is an understatement :)
