So this week I did some cleaning up here and there, then focused on wiring up sound, and finishing the Fish dude animations.
I started by cleaning up the buttons in the title screen. I haven't included the screen before because I didn't have permission to use the place holder buttons, but I made some really simple buttons of my own.

This post will be a bit picture and animation light, as I'll be releasing an updated build in a few days.

This past week I tried to stay pretty busy, and got a lot of boring stuff done. So next week is onto the fun stuff.
I finished porting the new skeleton for Meridiana into unreal engine, and was able to transfer all the animations over. This week I put a lot of work into the new enemy, finally added a jump(more of a hop), and started to build in aiming. I also added a start screen with a resolution setting.

So I wanted to show the process I used to set up a Matcap shader in unreal engine.

So most of you should have played at least one build and gotten some experience with the combat system.
I have been thinking about it, and given that its all casting spells, I could also go for a more third person style combat. (Think MGSV as an inspiration).
I'd like to hear your thoughts on what you like the most in stealth/adventure games combat systems. Do you like Zelda? Assassin's creed? What do you think is most interesting?

This update, unfortunately isn't very visual. It was mostly cleaning some stuff up, bug fixes, and rewriting some blueprints for future expansion.
I've tried to mask the transitions to sex animations to make them a little less jarring. To this effect there will be a quick white fade and a camera shift to try to mask everything during the animations set up and break down, and I think it works. This is something I've noticed in other games(happens a lot in Assassin's Creed ...

This past week was almost completely animation, as I worked on getting the animations for multiple sex partners implemented.

There is a reason that Meridiana has the ability to drain foes energy through sex, and it has to do with her parentage.
As such, one of the major reoccurring characters that she will be dealing with is her incubus "father". Now in this world, incubus and succubus are the same creatures, with the ability to switch back and for between genders at will.

This week was still a big focus on combat, but in this case it was animations for the goblin. I needed him to show some reactions, and so I focused on that.
I also took some time to try to automate the camera a little bit during combat.
I needed the goblin to react more and so I worked on getting animation done for the goblin getting hit, being knocked backwards and knocked forwards. If you hit the goblin from the back or front, he should react appropriately.
