Made a lot of progress on this that I'm liking, still a darker than I want but I think it'll help once I colour in the water and get the reflecting light pallet for Blaidd darker spots. Also why does everything look great on my tablet and then so much darker on my monitor? x3

It’s been a bit busy with Scrap Yard work and the holidays, also been stuck on how to approach the colour of this boy. Opting for a complimentary pallet so I can work in the gorgeous yellows on the game. Spent some time coming up with a pallet that I liked for this pic. I originally wanted to do the whole “anime sunset” trope, but then settled on a day scene. I think the day drinking scenario works well for Haida lol

Iiiiiiiiinks! I’m trying out more defined line works with more rounded edges. It takes longer but I think it works better for the character. The far background won’t have line work so I can convey the distance more easily and make Haida pop better.
