LAST DAY

Ok everyone, today is the last day to make any changes to your support level. Remember, I have 6 seasons of films. After that, if you support, there will not be a full season, but if you're at the $10 level you will get June's movie-of-the-month, 'The 13th Month'.

Don't forget as you shuffle your level of support, that $25 gets you the very popular behind the scenes. So, be sure to check how many seasons you've received, and get ready for rewards to go out no later than the 2nd of the m...

REWARDS!

Rewards have been sent out! I have 6 full seasons of films, which have been sent. This month I also have a bonus film, 'The Last Voice They Hear', which went out to anyone in the $10 and up range. So, enjoy! And if you have any problems, feel free to message me. Stay safe everyone!

Charges

Though we are locked in, hopefully this will be a ray of sunshine. Patreon will be putting out charges today. I should have rewards out no later than tomorrow. So sit tight, and get ready to enjoy as we enter another month of at least partial lockdown.

Free Film!

A film of mine, from a few years back, running free on Vimeo! Hopefully a little bit of fun during our quarantine. (And I'm thinking of working with this lead actress again!)  https://vimeo.com/407447428

ENNUI

With nothing to do during this full quarantine, you'll see that there are a couple of new posters for my films captioned above the 'Tiers' listing. Yeah, I'm working on new posters. That's what you do when you're bored and locked down but still feel like you have to create!

10 Days

As many of you may have heard on the news, the next week and a half are predicted to be the most deadly for the U.S. To all of my supporters in the U.S., and around the world, please be careful, take care of yourselves, and we'll all come out of this fine.

REWARDS!

I've sent out rewards, based on all the charges Patreon was able to put through. So check your emails! If you were charged and didn't receive an email, drop me a private message and I'll look into it. There are 6 seasons of films. After that I'm out of films...for now. But if this quarantine ever ends I'm one film away from a seventh season!

Charges (Part 2)

Just checked Patreon and they are still working on placing charges, so more than likely I won't get the ok until tomorrow. I appreciate your patience as the system chugs along. I'm sure Patreon has been hit like every other business in the country. So hang in there, and I'll let you know as soon as I get the ok!

Charges

Alright, Patreon's going to start putting through their charges. Just sit tight. I'll either get the ok later today or tomorrow on when it's ok to send out the links to the films. As always, enjoy the films! I hope they make being stuck at home a little bit nicer.

End of the Month

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is the last day you can make changes to your support level before charges go out on Wednesday. By the way, this is a shot from the behind the scenes for first time supporters. Just a hint of what you'd get at that tier...

Craft Services

This was supposed to be a shoot day, but of course with our current crisis it had to be cancelled. Still, no reason not to order pizza for the 'crew' even if I'm the only crew member!

Welcome!

Welcome to all the new people who've signed up! You're about to get access to some really terrific films! So just sit back and prepare to enjoy. Charges go out on the first day of April, and I'll have the films out no later than the second day.

(And by the way, this is from a film you'll see as a first time supporter at the $10 level - quick note, on the far left you'll see the actress accidentally left the script in the frame!)

Us

Given the worldwide pandemic, I think this is all of us right now.

Shelter-In-Place

Little did I know when I wrote 'The Last Voice They Hear' about a woman who essentially self-quarantines herself, that I'd end up being prophetic!

Hope you're all doing well, and we'll all survive this!

Quarantine

So since I'm effectively quarantined here, I have been catching up on my TV viewing. Watching season two of 'Jack Ryan' it seems the evil scheme involves the same evil scheme in my short film 'The Day After The Day'!

I feel hurt.

Well, if you haven't seen it yet, you'll get it in the fifth season.

Prototype

For my better short films I create IMDB pages, movies like 'The Hum', 'Run', and 'The Breach'. And there will be one for 'Please Stand By'. There may be a little tweaking, but essentially this is the poster I believe I will be going with.

Next Season...

I was hoping to have Season Seven done by April, but that just isn't going to happen...because of Coronavirus!!!! I've been trying to cast for the final film of that season, however I was turned down by 3 actresses who are afraid to come out because of their fear over contracting a virus in an environment where they are nude, and working with other actors!

So, hopefully as the situation calms down I'll be able to get back to shooting. Meanwhile, I guess like everyone I'll hunker down an...

Talks

I'm talking with this actress about a project. I've actually done one of my favorite recent films with her, 'Presto', a film that builds its tension mainly through an odd phone conversation. Thinking of doing something else along that 'odd' style with her.

I'm putting together a new film, and I'm at the stage where I start casting. I always do a quick spin through old films to consider past actresses. Hmmmmmm.....

Actor's Life

If you're local to Illinois you'll see one of my favorite actors ('Next Time You'll Know Me', 'Presto', 'Trash') in a local politician's commercial.

Most of the films I make feature working actors, though there are the occasional one-and-done performers. Beyond the network TV series, Chicago's a strong hub for commercials and industrials.

REWARDS!

As some of you may have already noticed, I've sent out rewards! Patreon was quick this month in processing payments. Check you emails, and make sure it didn't roll into junk mail.

If you didn't receive rewards and were charged, please message me and I'll look into it. Otherwise, enjoy!

(And looking ahead, I'm only 1 movie away from finishing Season Seven! So keep an eye out, I might be able to put that season out next month!)

Charges & Rewards

So, starting today Patreon will charge your cards. Once that's done (at its longest it will take until tomorrow) I'll send out the rewards! So hang in there and I'll get back to you all at the latest, tomorrow!

Question...

In a Season of films I try to do some longer and involved stories, and some quickies that get right to the point. So, just wondering if any of you have a preference - the longer movies like 'The Hum' or 'The Breach', or quickies like 'POV', 'Don't Answer the Door', or 'Has Anyone Seen Carol Hall'?

Just curious. Worth knowing as I move forward in my content creation.

SEMI-FINALIST!

'The Hum' (available to first time supporters) is a semi-finalist in a horror film festival. This film has previously won me awards, and hopefully I'll have something to report after this fest is over.

KEEPING UP A PRESENCE

As much as anything, advertising occupies a huge amount of my time. It's not enough to just shoot a short film. No one will watch it unless you do a teaser, then a trailer, then advertise your brand. For every one short film I shoot I probably edit/shoot a half dozen commercials, teasers, et al.

And you've got to keep it fresh. After a few weeks, no one's watching the old commercials.

In that vein, here is the latest...
