'Pantomime' is a film that you'll see...I don't know. Down the line.
After this months movie of the month (by the way, this is your last day to settle on your support), November will see Season Thirteen! So there'll be no movie of the month that month, just the new season for person in line for that season.
There'll be two new movies in season 13, as well as my more recent films. So there'll be lots to enjoy.
But more on that later. For now, 'Elsewhen' is on it's way!

I've chosen 'Elsewhen' as the movie-of-the-month for October! I like the story of this one very much, and I think you will as well. It was my first time working with Lauren, and she gave a very natural performance, making her character completely convincing in what can best be called unusual circumstances.
The film is available at the $10 level, $25 for the BTS which this month will include me doing a commentary over the entire film!

Not sure what the movie-of-the-month for October will be, but I'm narrowing it down to these two films, 'Aztec' and 'Elsewhen'. The latter is completed, the former I'm sure I can finish before the end of the month. I'll wait a few more days and see if I can come to some kind of a decision.

Looming down the line for me is this film, 'Aztec'. I've assembled a few props, now I need to assemble a cast. It's about an eBayer and a cursed item she's attempting to unload.

So yeah, this actress and I finally got to work together. The short is called 'Elsewhen', and you will see it...elsewhen. Not sure if it will be the October movie of the month, or some time down the line. We'll see.
But editing's almost done and I should have a trailer out forthwith.

Time for me to put this film to the side for a moment, and move on to other projects. This film is finished pretty much. But I need to get away from it for a few days before coming back and giving it a second look. That's an essential when editing a film, getting away and clearing your head. Then, I come back, and do a final edit once I can be more objective.

The weekend editing is spilling into this week. All set for September, though. Just working down the line. As this is a holiday weekend coming up (Labor Day), I probably won't try and do any casting - no one'll be in town. So I'll just take the time to work on this and another project I've been waiting to devote some serious editing time to.

I'm going to spend this weekend editing - not September's movie of the month, that's all done, but October's movie. I've also got to bundle some films together - the new season hits this November. And then there's still December's films. So I have enough to keep me busy. Hope I can get a little time to enjoy one of the last weekends of summer.

Every actor has their own method for learning lines. An actress I just used liked to copy the script by hand, highlighting her lines.
Interesting technique. It worked for her, she was on point with her lines!

When the new season comes out, I will be well over 100 short films available on Patreon!
If I'd been thinking about it, I should have commemorated it on the 100th film, which was, hmmm, let me think...I guess it was 'The Sight'.
As it's never too late for me to celebrate, I'll have to take the girlfriend out for a few drinks and dinner. 100 shorts is quite an achievement.
