Hello everyone.

I don't have a lot to talk about today. I haven't yet settled on a satisfactory system for the email list, but hopefully I will this week.

As I've mentioned before, I might be stingy with previews going forward. But this one I've attached suggests some continuing struggles for the MC. This guy can't seem to catch a break and he may be making some bad choices that are compounding his problems.

Hey everybody. New subscriptions for both Patreon and SubscribeStar are now disabled. I don't have the email system in place yet, however. I did send out a test email to my Platinum Tier last week using Gmail but I'm still hoping to find something with a bit more utility than Gmail. Phasing Out Patreon

Beginning March 1st, I will no longer be accepting new supporters on Patreon or SubscribeStar. Fans of Leaving DNA will still be able to get new episodes through a one-time purchase of the game on Itch or Steam. Hey everybody.

Back when I started working on Leaving DNA, I anticipated it being a whole fuck ton of work. After coming up with the story and teaching myself Daz and Ren'py, I knew I'd be grinding for a solid two, maybe two and a half more years to finish this project. That seemed like a long way off, but I was passionate about it and knew if I dug in for the long haul I'd get it done. Episode Four Bug Fix

One of my players found a bug where the bathroom scene from Episode Two was showing a black screen instead of the animations.  I've uploaded a new version (Episode 4.3 or 4.4) to fix this bug.  I sincerely apologize for the bug!​

Leaving DNA: Episode Four Released for All Tiers!

I'm very happy to announce the release of Leaving DNA: Episode Four! Thank you so much to all of my supporters who have stuck with me for so long while I worked on this episode. It took awhile, but I'm very happy with the final product. I hope you have a memorable and engaging experience with this new update and that when you finish you will already start pushing me to finish Episode Five!

Wow, I can't believe I finally finished Episode Four. And you can't believe it, either! Development of this episode was much longer than I anticipated, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Yes, it's dark, but come on, the game opens with a woman being beaten to death in front of her child, so I think I've appropriately set the tone.

Announcement: Release Date for Episode Four

Leaving DNA: Episode Four will be released for all supporter tiers as well as on Steam and Itch on Tuesday, February 4th. I'll post an episode changelog on Tuesday, but the game now features nearly 10,000 still renders with over 100 lewd animations. There are over 110,000 words of dialogue for Episodes One through Four.

(Android version may come a couple of days late. Please be patient if you are waiting for the Android version.)

Two-and-a-half years of sending out weekly dev journals and I've never missed one. But somehow Saturday night sailed past me this week.

Anyways, here is a Monday morning dev journal:

Playtesters got it last week and are doing their thing. Everything else is done. Assuming the playtesters don't find anything that just blows the whole thing up, Biggest Supporters will have it before the end of the week, everyone else at some point next week.

I'm pretty close to sending Episode Four to the playtesters. Close enough that I am announcing it will be released for all tiers sometime during the first full week of February. (Biggest Supporters will get it a few days earlier than everyone else.)

I'm not going to announce a playtime/length for Episode Four. Every player has such a different experience that my announcements for previous episodes haven't been worth much.

I hope you are all enjoying the holiday season. I have a lot of family coming into town starting tonight so I will be spending a lot of time with them over the next week. Fortunately I am also taking the week off from my job so it should balance out that I will continue working steadily on Episode Four.
