Hey all, hope the warm fuzzy feels of the holidays are still holding on even with the rush of a new year and all that that entails.
I have here the ocarina for the Stonecrest Sparrow and because I realized a person needs to actually play the thing, for the book I enlarged the creature from tiny to small so it makes sense that it's beak is actually useable. So now go enjoy slaying a turkey sized sparrow :)

Before I get into all the Stonecrest releases I want to do a project recap considering we have a new year of exciting new stuff on the horizon.
2023 was a big year, it started off strong with the amount of people on this Patreon, me and Pascal, the original 3D artist, were in a good groove of releasing the two monsters a month and the Discord group was slowly growing with one live game going (thanks a lot to Rose for being the first Sol'Kesh DM!)...

The days between Christmas and New Years have always been my favorite time of the year, no more stress of shopping, no more big dinners to plan or go to, just settle in, eat leftovers and relax till the year ramps up once again. Not everyone has that break, some are rushed back to work to deal with the boxing day madness. 3 more days to Christmas and even for those that don't celebrate that day I hope you're getting the day off from work to relax, unwind and think about creatures.
Today I got my day off of work and have a whole week to deep dive Sol'Kesh and finish off quite a few of the beasts, can't wait!

Here's the Wrak Sting. This was a fun one to draw and I'm not just saying that cause I love drawing chitin, the colours were more vibrant than my usual :)
What's different about this Blowgun compared to others is that the special damage is embedded in the blowgun itself, not the darts. So no matter what you're loading in, you're spitting out some acid damage with this.

By the creature-loving gods, we did it! 2023 is defeated and we're ending with a scythe-wielding red devil of a bug. And that's christmas-y enough...I think.

Hey everyone Happy Wayward Wednesday!
After a few weeks of detail work I'm done the 4th environment sketch for the bestiary, this time showing off the Farplains biome, specifically the bug and flower strewn fields of Valedayn, with a new view of the Splitspine mountains in the background.
Doing these type of illustrations are a real struggle compared to straight up creature design but I feel like I'm getting quicker with each one! Now just to do a full painting ...

It's honestly a challenge not to do just make every sharp bit you can harvest off a creature to be come a weapon, so this month's item for the Sacrissian played a different tune.
This instrument (that you can get with a traveler or dweller tier membership) plays two different songs to have an influence in combat, uplifting your allies or disorienting your enemies.
And for those more violent players, a weapon is coming in on the 15th!

Thanks again to everyone who voted, for the very appreciated tier members I'd like to share an early preview of the Wrakis.
The biome for this creature will be Far Reaches, which is what I'm calling the category of creatures that could be found anywhere on the island. And for the craftable item, what do you guys think of a blowdart tube using it's proboscis :)

Our second creature of the month is here and this one goes faaar back, the 4th journal entry and 2nd creature done for the Sol'Kesh bestiary, back when it was a peninsula!
