Been wanting to do this for a long while, mostly to prove to myself that I can lol
I've been feeling- not good lately.

It's the usual creator stuff, don't feel motivated/inspired, that my work is terrible, jealous of my friends own work, that old chestnut. 😑

So I opened clipstudio paint and just went for it. No thoughts, just move your hand and don't stop until your satisfied.

And yeah, I guess I am. I mean, I love my style, it' simple and sleek, at least I think it is...

Color commission for a friend --

A while back I posted this as inks only but recently my friend decided he would have liked it in color!

Lately I haven't been feeling inspired when I work in SAI, so I'm currently hopping from all my art programs messing with new things and trying to find a new way to do things.

So I colored this in Medibang, I really liked the brushed I used, especially the shading on the hair, it was a fun experiment!

I loved that comic series, it was one of the first I stumbled upon in 2000 and I've always come back to read through it throughout the years.

Also! I really missed filling in blacks, just- adding that simple shade and highlight, good times.

Try before you buy --

I thought I would try out Clip Studio Paint, it's pretty popular and right now it's 50% off, so I figured I would give it a go before I spent any money.

The only thing I really like about it was the colored pencil tool, really great for sketching, but once I moved onto inking and coloring I just gave up.

The work space didn't feel comfortable to me and even with all the various pens and pencils nothing really jumped out at me. I feel like medibang has a much friendlier interface, ...

The updated community guidelines are going to get me eventually, I can't even mention anything of an "adult" nature in the text boxes anymore.

I have seen a few other options like Subscribestar and such as alternatives to Patreon when it comes to furry/adult material.

As much as I try sometimes the depression and PTSD get the better of me and I'm a selectively mute depressed mess who can't stand the thought of being alive.

So sorry for lack of updates!

Hurricane Hannah sent us a ton of rain!
Unfortunately my mom's home flooded, again.

Tho we were better prepared this time, we were able to elevate furniture, prepare our pets and keep them safe, and we packed and hunkered down at my sister's home, where it didn't flood but the power did go out.

We've been cleaning up since the water receded and I'm exhausted.

Anxious and nervous lately.

I'm doing my best to overcome a lot of ingrained fears and panic over being more social online. Which I know sounds dumb, I feel so helpless with it all. I mean, I was really looking forward to streaming and chatting online with everyone but every time I tried I got so overwhelmed and afraid I couldn't.

Such an old concept, wow!

Like, ten years ago, when the PoM community was bumping on the regs, a friend of mine wrote a fic where Kowalski accidentally became a lemur and had to adjust to the changes AND living in the lemur habitat lol

Moomin - One's a little creepy --

Persephone, the slight changes work so good on her! They're subtle but really bring her look together, especially the inner ear color, it really works well with her color scheme and help her eyes pop more too!

Last night my PC and drawing tablet were lagging hella badly and it really freaked me out.

Beastars AU - Anthro penguin?

I haven't been sleeping well at all and thanks to that, and mistakenly drinking a pepsi for breakfast, I managed to doodle a what-if to wrap my brain around.

I wasn't sure if Kowalski would be the same height as Julien or if he would be taller. I made him taller for humor's sake lol
