With the news of Dongheon enlisting later this year, I've actually decided to resume Veriveryland then so I can still have new (to me) Dongheon content to look at while he's away ðŸ˜.
I'm thinking that I'm going to do Hwaiting (Season 2) by DIVE studios next and pick up with weekly uploads starting next week, which I'll do if there's no requests!

May I just just say how much I viscerally hate it when shows give a mission and then eliminate contestants halfway through preparing for the mission? Like, I literally see no point other than to simulate unexpected line-up changes, which unfortunately do happen in K-Pop more often than we'd like. But that can also be done by just...having a low-stakes mission where you just switch or exchange one or two members (I don't like that either though, tbh). This is all elimination stuff so watch if you want, I guess? Again, the trainees being wholesome AF saved this episode honestly. I really like seeing men being so outwardly supportive and happy for other men to the point of letting themselves be emotionally vulnerable, it's just a very positive representation of masculinity and community and the sap in me is thriving.

Ngl this episode is boring as hell in retrospect and I wish I skipped through a lot more of it, but at the time the trainees were endearing enough that I actually managed to sit through the entirety of the eliminations without getting too antsy until towards the end. It helped that I wanted to get to know the trainees better lol. The Dance Battle Starts around 00:48:00 and the pranks around 01:48:00 if you want to skip the drag-y parts!
