The stress changes are complete. I'll do some testing and balancing tonight & tomorrow and then unless I run into lots of problems I'll send you out a dev version.
The problem with stress in the current version is that it tends towards gradual change which either means it creeps up to 100 and stays there or just sticks around 0.

The main change will be a complete rewrite of the stress system. I've mentioned in the past that it has issues that can't be solved by just tweaking the values. I had some ideas on how to resolve them, so I'm making the change now. I'll give full details in the next post.

Yesterday's release of 0.4.5 wasn't too bad in terms of bugs, but I've sort of got into the habit of fixing issues the day after a release and putting out an updated version the next day.
So, here's 0.4.5b. It has some fixes, the most significant of which is probably one reported by Emile where the farm scene would error if the palyer chose to return to her flat with her partner. Enjoy!

Before I start planning your wedding, I'm doing one more update that isn't properly part of the 0.5 release. For this, I thought I'd have a go at an often-requested feature: contraception failure and sabotage.
The basic idea there will be that men with the Impregnator trait (and only them) might deliberately sabotage the player's contraception. There'll also be a chance for condoms to break naturally.

Newlife 0.4.2 is ready - well, sort of ready. It could probably use some more testing but there don't seem to be any critical bugs and as it's New Year's Eve I think it's best to put it out now in case my head's too sore tomorrow.
I'll do some more testing tomorrow, and if there are issues then I might put out a patch release then or the day after. If you find bugs, please report them and I'll get onto them ASAP.

Hi all, last month there was a vote to determine which position to use for the upcoming anal sex scene in the PMW release.

As you might know, anal sex won the PMW vote last month. I'll be implementing that soon - most likely in 0.4.2. There's a number of positions that might work for that, so I'm going to open it up to a vote.
One thing that was discussed on some comments was whether the scene should be a bed-only one or if it should be possible to access from other makeout situations such as the alleyway. That'll depend to some extent on the position chosen - for vaginal sex only the standing...

Well, an exciting vote. Or at least I hope it was exciting for you - for me it's mostly lots and lots of copy & paste to transfer the votes from patreon to my vote-calculator.
Anal took an early lead with 15 out of 60 first-choice votes, compared to just 5 for the next-most-popular choices (gloryhole and sex on the dancefloor).
Those three ended up taking the top 3 places, which once again makes me wonder if a simpler single-pick system might be better. But...
