I’ve already technically introduced Cam but I actually ended up making changes to their personality and their history revealed itself to me and I felt much more sympathetic to them.

Cam and Reid when they were kids. The exact age they met, idk. My brain is saying around 7-8 but we’ll see. Anyway! They met when Reid was transferred to the school that Cam was in. Cam did endear themselves to Reid cos they knew he was rich but like.. they absolutely both didn’t fit into their school society very well so they WERE authentically close. They gave each other enough confidence to stand up to people picking on them and companionship to just… exist as kids.

A little while ago I finally worked out certain similarities between Wynn and Cam while using the information I’d made earlier and boom! This came about! This is how Cam used to look like before they decided to pursue a very particular aesthetic and chose a lifestyle that would mean they changed their look.

Plus to Reid, these colors would signify a much better time, when Camellia wasn’t vicious and mean to him. They were good times 😔

Charming ✨

What do the kids say? Yes, Reid has got the Rizz! He’s a pretty calm, dependable guy who seems to always know what to say at the right moments. He feels like a fairytale, to Wynn at least. So whenever he kind of blurts his concerns and shortcomings out for no real reason, Reid always says something to show him that he doesn’t actually mind it and that it’s ok. It’s the most charming thing he’s ever experienced 😭🤲🏾❤️

I decided to draw a bit of interaction between Reid and Cam mostly cos we’d have to see a lot of them interacting to get a feel of how their dynamic is like, and as a result, how and why they act the way they act.

Cam is always so casually RUDE to Reid. They say such things while laughing playfully. And often while being affectionate. Here, all Reid’s asking is if they can hang out more cos Cam seems to busy spending time with anyone BUT him. And although Reid often looks unaffected...

I decided to draw these two side by side and they look NOTHING ALIKEEE!! Like not even the pink of their hair! Tho Cam’s hair CAN become like that (bright and saturated) they don’t like it like that and avoid any of the things they’d need to get it like that.

Lmaoooo!! Ok so! Wynn met Reid on Some Dating App ™️ when he was on there just.. swiping for fun or smthn. Reid’s profile picture was kinda funny. Motion blur with him seemingly holding up a glass that obscured part of his face. Normally Wynn wouldn’t give an account like that much attention but he though from the little he saw, this guy was kind of fine.

Hahaaa!! I added another character! Meet Wynn, a college Junior who goes on dates when he’s hungry or bored. The only reason he ever figured into the story is cos Reid’s a weirdo who went on a date with Wynn cos his pink hair reminded him of Camellia and he was at the height of his pining.
