So even though I finished my last custom of the year I'm already working on my first custom of the next, I'm using Amy to make Cassia the Pronghorn. Usually when I use Amy as a custom base I sand down the back of her head a bit, but I just discovered that like Knuckles and Charmy part of the head can be removed along a seam, leaving behind a smaller head that's easier to sculpt on and won't leave hints of her head spines. Funny how even at this point I'm STILL learning about the Jazw...

Final custom of the year
Here's my last custom for the year, a commission for Lone Sock, a simple Sonic wearing his iconic SOAP Shoes from Sonic Adventure 2 (which are also a selectable clothing item in Sonic Forces.)

So Tomy announced that they're making an official Infinite figure, which lead to some people asking if I'd still make my custom. My response is that my rule of not making customs of officially released characters is based on the fact that I wouldn't be able to do it as well as a professional company with tools and resources...but in this case yeah I can totally do better than Tomy, and reason one is because mine will have a removable helmet. Yep, Wakeangel's Infinite will have a FACE...

sculpting her stomach to look like a combiner peg was a nice touch that showed real foresight...sculpting the pegs on her chest in the same place nipples would be showed a lack of self awareness...

I participated in a Secret Santa event at inkbunny where a bunch of artists were randomly paired off to do artwork of each others characters. I pulled this guy who has a ludicrously long tail. Technically I'm not supposed to reveal the completed work until the 20th when the exchange takes place but Patrons always get to see sneak previews. He'll have a companion figure that I have to finish too.
