I do believe that The Mighty Ducks cartoon was the WEIRDEST cartoon adaptation EVER, but when the main bad guy is some kind of dinosaur alien voiced by Tim Curry everything is justified. Hmm...this guy's armor looks a little like the Vault suit from Fallout right?

I just did a test fitting of all the parts I'm using to make Sonikko, and compared the height to a regular Sonic figure. Sonikko does come out a bit taller now because of Wave's longer torso, but I think it works since she's wearing Blaze's high heels, and anyone in heels will of course look taller.

I got it now, purple is opposite on the color wheel to yellow, meaning that it is every bit as obstinate and impossible to work with as its complement. I used primer, a white layer, thinned the paints, thickened the paints, and used 5-6 coats on every part and it STILL looks like this. Admittedly it looks a bit worse in these hi-rez pictures than it does in person under natural light but I amend my catch phrase: "Nothing painted yellow, OR PURPLE, ever looks good!"
