Alright, a good old fashioned Sonic OC, been a while since I made one of these!  This is for DA user R-Comix and apparently his name is carrot despite not having any orange or green in his color scheme.

Mona Lisa WIP

continuing Electricalgeek's commission for various unappreciated characters from the TMNT 2012 series, Mona Lisa is a bit more complicated than the dread beavers since she requires quite a lot of modification to the figure which can't be dismantled.  Why the heck didn't she get an official figure?  She was a recurring character AND Raphael's love interest!

Colley's minifigure is done, and it's my first time making a minifigure for someone using my 3D printer, only the spines and a little bit of the shell's ridge are sculpted the traditional way with apoxie, since small sharp points tend to get  messed up when I try to print them and it would have been too much of a pain to place them on the right spots of the shell in tinkercad anyway.

hey look!  I finally made and printed out a minifigure!  I had to sculpt a little bit but the main turtle shape is my own original model.

3D printed SOAP shoes hi-rez

This was a test to see if I could make a 3D printed part for a custom figure, I went with the SOAP shoes from Sonic Adventure 2 since that's a common request for commissions.  The model comes from Sonic Forces, since the original Dreamcast/Gamecube models don't have any detailing.

I got struck with a little bit of inspiration from a friend and fellow customizer, Speed Up Jessie (aka Medicomcollector) who is on a mission to have 100 custom Mario figures, so I'm gonna do one for him.

Ridleys hi-rez

Both Ridleys were completed on the same day, one a commission, the other for me.  I'm going to call them "soldier Ridley" and "Big Chap Ridley" since both were made from NECA's Xenomorph figures, but different versions of said xenomorph.  I must say, the Big Chap figure is better for customizing, it's built better as a toy and is a little more similar to Ridley's body type, I'll get into the figure's individual foibles in the video.

Both Ridleys done!

yup, just waiting for some paint to stabilize and I will soon have 2 Ridley figures!  One for me and one that's commissioned.  These are officially the biggest things I ever customized, in terms of raw surface area at least...not counting Caliburn, that was a 4 foot long toy sword but I only had to customize the handle part so that bit is smaller than these guys.

It took all day, but the painting on of the Ridleys is done, I'm going to wait until I finish painting the other to assemble it so they can stand together in the video.

For the record, I'm going to call this one "Soldier Ridley" since the base toy is the soldier type xenomorph (from Aliens,) while the other will be "Big Chap Ridley" since it's based off the glow in the dark version of the Big Chap xenomorph, the one from the original Alien movie.

Here's the very first model I ever made myself, using Tinkercad.  I wanted something like a basic buck for my minifigures, I also printed up a quick draft of it you can see in the attachments.
