Last week, I visited Britain for a few days. Since I was near Colchester, I had to make a visit to the Colchester castle. 

Colchester was a former Roman city (around 50 CE) called Camulodunum and was the capital of the province.

Colchester castle is one of the largest Norman Keeps in Europe, built on top of the ruins of the Roman Claudius Temple. The temple was  burned down during the Boudican revolt.

Marc (brown-haired presenter), Floris (blonde presenter), Alain (shoe-maker in ‘Caliga’, beggar in ‘Money’ etc.) are the three people behind this channel. We are a group of friends from the Netherlands who started re-enacting about three and a half years ago. It was just the three of us getting the equipment and going out into nature, dressing up Roman and getting a feel for the ancient soldier’s life. But a purpose was lack...
