As for colors I had something in mind but I don't think this quite nails it. Feel like I should play with values more here. In my head I wanted more of a dark scene with dim lighting as if the bar hadn't turned on it's light for the night shift while having the back be very bright and colorful.

Saw Mogy turning some of his Patron's characters into dogs and decided to turn Reela into a full wolf. It was a nice little warm up and I think she's cute. I'm always divided if I want to use more realistic proportions or not. I'd like to find some sort of middle ground but I guess all that matters is that it looks good.

I asked my brother what I should draw Orin doing. He said "ice fishing". So here he is. Turns out he hates the cold. I imagined his setting being at the start a desert so it was nice to imagine how he'd react to the polar(zing!) opposite. I'm thinking he's here fulfilling a job to gather a specific kind of fish only found in cold dungeons. Probably the only gig available at the time and despite hating the cold he hates being idle much much more.

Morning everyone, hope you're all enjoying the start/middle/end of your weekends. To my surprise "???" won the poll so I took the opportunity to mess with lower frame rate animation and made this. It was a really nice time thankfully and not too frustrating aside from some Clip Studio issues.

A Bang I sketched out over the weekend. I spent entirely way too much time on this and caused me an equal amount of stress. When I say "way too much time" I don't mean like I was too slow on this rather that I just tried to force it done but kept falling into so many stupid issues I needed to correct all because I didn't put enough thought initially. To make matters worse I almost lost an entire sketchbook file in the process with a ton of work I had done the day before.

I didn't get much sleep so I decided not to do anything crazy. I've been meaning to try out low frame rate animation so this is what I worked on for a bit. Chips gave me a critique and suggestions which led to the 5th iteration. If you're curious I included gifs 1-5.

Something I started last week as a warm up. Super Mario bros. has been an important part of my life. It's a franchise I grew up playing with my brother and I love them as if they were my own brothers. I should really draw them more.
