I rarely use multiple layers to shade, usually I do everything on one layer and only add a simple light source if there's a fire nearby, but the recent pages didn't have the dramatic lighting I wanted so I decided to play around with colors and settings and ended up with this.
The colors are optional, there are a bunch of other colors you can use but these were the ones I felt worked for this type of setting.
