Tip- Preparing a background for multiple use
Just a quick little tip on creating backgrounds for comics or something similar.
I often create the background before I start coloring the page. It gives me a base ground for what colors I should use and the perspective we see the characters from.
By painting a background on a large canvas, I can later take sections out of that background for certain panels, something like a close up on the character will take a small frame out of the background, while a large panel will take a much bigge...
