Reindeers

Feeling Christmasy made me start on a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer portfolio. Just in case someone wants to hire me for children's book illustrations. I was originally gonna use my bee book for that, but people like familiar things so *shrug*

Here's some poses and the basic idea I have for how I wanna draw the reindeer. A mix between The Flight Before Christmas, Velvet from Them's Fightin' Herds, and Dr. Lollipop. And yes, Santa's reindeer are gonna be all girls.

Imagine if there were a Cat Goddess who was just some random human lady and cats kept on following her and making boring prayers like "gimme wet food" or "i'm bored" or whatever and she's just so damn tired of all these cats, because it turns out cats follow the commands of their goddess about as well as they follow the commands of any other human.

The religious Kate falls for Max after she saves her, and is slowly but surely coming to terms with her attraction to someone of the same sex. It takes a while, but she's still learning that kissing girls is okay.

Not knowing what would've happened if Max hadn't stepped in, Chloe brushes off Max saving her. She has seen Max lying in a pool of her own blood and, more than that, knows that she ran away and didn't help.

Max has lived this entire week, and takes this opportunity to tell Chloe how she feels, despite not knowing how she'll react. Because she might not get another chance.

But Max doesn't die. She wakes up in the Arcadia Bay hospital. And Chloe is there.

Nathan still gets rightfully punished. He testifies against Jefferson. Jefferson gets arrested. Kate and the other girls get justice.

Nathan turns around, shooting in surprise the person who approached him from the back. But the timing is right. The butterfly flies off. There will be no tornado.
