An Actual Review of Outer Wilds (Patreon Preview)

The owls are all in place, but a fair amount of additional visual gags are still in progress, the public version will be going up on Friday and I will most likely post a finished version for patrons only tomorrow.

Also for anyone wondering about posts being charged for on this Patreon this is just a reminder that for some reason per-post accounts can't switch to monthly at the moment, so this is my work around until that is fixed.

Additional Update

After contacting Patreon support it is apparently not currently possible for me to switch my Patreon back to monthly and it may be a while before they roll out the ability to do so, just letting everyone know so they don't get blindsided by an email saying they got charged for a post on here.

An Update on the Patreon Moving Forward

Heya folks, I'm posting here because starting this month I will be switching the Patreon back to a monthly format, as I'm moving halfway across the country in a few months and I just need to start saving up money for that. An Actual Review of Stray (INCOMPLETE EARLY RELEASE)

Thank you all once again for allowing me to post an incomplete version early and charging for it, it really means a lot.

This version of the video is being posted with, for the most part, only the gameplay footage edited into place and a couple of stray owls. Over the next couple of days I'll be finishing up the owls and visual gags if you'd like to hold off just a bit to get the completed version.

It's a very silly cat game.

Okay, I'm going to sleep tonight and a version with at least the gameplay footage and a portion of the visual gags will be posted here tomorrow for Patrons only. Hi, the Stray video will (hopefully) be fully releasing tomorrow, but there is a chance I won't be able to completely finish the visuals on time. Discord Update

Apparently the link is super unreliable no matter how many times I generate it, so I've activated Discord integration on the Patreon. If you link your account it should automatically add you to the server, if that doesn't work just DM me and I'll send you a one-use link to join.

Discord Update - Looking for Moderators

Hey howdy, so I'm going forward with the private Discord server as a replacement but I need moderators for it, I know I've spoken to a few of y'all a decent amount so I figure posting a "casting call" or whatever. So I know what I said in the previous post, but I'm considering running a private Discord server just for Patrons, as I think that number will still be relatively manageable for me mentally. Going to be asking around to find a moderator or two, and once it's set up properly I'll post another update.

It's been really nice to "walk away" from everything a bit, I hadn't even really realized how much it was overwhelming me, but I miss having some form of interaction with my audience.

Re: Discord Server Deletion

Going to keep this short, but I don't have anything to do with this happening and was not informed that it was until now by an unrelated third party. I haven't been in the server for a while already because I've been trying to scale back how constantly publicly plugged in I am, so this only really directly affects me by having to adjust the Patreon tiers and try to think of new rewards. Ultimately it's not really my call whether it gets deleted or not, though I do wish I'd at least been told ...

Update: This Patreon Will No Longer Be Monthly (Also The Outer Wilds Video Has Been Postponed, Sorry)

Pretty much as the title says, I'm no longer going to run this Patreon monthly and will instead be running it on a "per-video" basis, capping at one cash out per month (as if that's going to be an issue lol). Sometime this weekend I'll go edit the tiers and everything to reflect that. 

I'm also putting the Outer Wilds video on hold, I've realized that I'm not in a place to talk about it "properly" or in a way that I'd ever really be happy with, and continuing to agonize over it rig...

Just feel like it's something that needs to be said, I've been having quite a shit go for the past couple years (very unique of me) and the support from y'all, patrons or otherwise, has meant more than I can really put it to words without getting really annoying and self indulgent.
