And here's the finished product! I learned a better way to create cartoon trees during this, as well as new way to shade big, grassy fields without it being too much of a hassle, or too boring looking. Hurray, improvement!

The text was done by hand. He wanted a Disney-looking font for the name. :3

As you can see, at this stage I draw over the original thumbnail sketch with actual definition. Not perfect, such as the lines on the fighting ring not being completely defined, but it's enough for me to ink and work off of!

This was the original sketch in my story script for page three! As you can see, it's kind of loose and sloppy, but that's important! There's no point to valuing these drawings since I may very well throw it out should I need to revise anything. The true drawing comes later... which I'll show in a few hours!

I just finished the page, so I'll have it up tomorrow evening sometime. :3

Secondly, I think what I'm going to do for public page releases is that I'll just release the older page once a new one is posted. Once page 4 is posted tomorrow on Patreon, I'll release page 3 to everyone else. It'll be easier for me to keep track of, and you Tier IV + V members will always be one step ahead in the story!

Gauging Interest for a Little Runt YCH Auction

I have a smaller crowd shot on page 5 of Little Runt, and there's an open spot where I could put someone's character. Altairey gave me the idea to do a YCH auction for it, which would be available to Tier IV and Tier V patrons. I've been wanting to give more advantages to patrons in those tiers, so I really like the idea. Would anyone be interested in it?

Like I mentioned last time, this is how I start off my paintings! I get the base colors down, and some basic shading, and use this as a color palette to sample from in order to get the colors where I need to. :3 

This one was a bit easier to choose colors for since it was perfectly white light and white environment, which meant black shadows. The trickier part was getting the spotlight angle appealing and consistent.

I had to tie down the sketch of this one more, before painting it, because of the amount of detail Reazu had! I had to make sure those detailed were concrete and easily readable to me before I added any color at all.

Update Regarding Page 3 of Little Runt

I'll likely have it posted on Friday! Sorry it took so long. Page 3 is one of the most time-consuming pages in the whole comic, due the the number of characters on it (13), the number of unique designs (10), and some specific background detail I had to draw in.

This is exactly why I didn't want to do a posting schedule - different pages require different amounts of work. :3  Page 4 is a lot simpler by comparison, so that will probably be out sooner There's a few other pages in the ...
