This month's Whitney selfie was actually requested by Whitney herself! She wanted to see her in a post-workout scene, in a sports bra and all sweaty and stuff. The idea of putting her in front of a mirror just kind of came out of the conversation after that point.

As this game was not only one of my favorite games in the Switch's library so far, but also ranks as one of my favorite JRPG's of all time (even matching the likes of Chrono Trigger and Earthbound in my eyes), I couldn't resist taking another opportunity to draw Whitney as Pyra, this time in her in-game unlockable swimsuit costume. And rest assured, the 2019 series coming up is going to have a handful of other XC2-themed cosplays, since this game was PACKED with pinup-worthy character designs...

"Family Life" Update #1: Welcoming Marlena

Only a handful of months out of each year include a fifth Friday. Each time this happens, we will be producing a "Family Life" post, wherein we jump forward in time and see Peter and Whitney enjoying their future lives as a married couple and growing family.

In honor of the first of these updates, here is a family portrait of Peter, Whitney, and their newest little family addition: Marlena. Expect to see much more art of this tiny bundle of cuteness as these updates continue.
