learning how to shape the face using the lights and the shadow is crucial otherwise the face won't look as you want it to. I know, it's sad, but we can do it!
Doing some studies from time to time so I can learn more. Also, I rarely draw this skin tone and I wanted to practice this as well...
I started crying because I couldn't draw her face properly... well, I was angry, and when I'm angry I cry (^_^;) anyways, cooled off and finished it. I'm happy with her chest *.*
After I finished drawing the warm tone (original) I played with the color balance and I created the cooler tone. I like that too!!! <3

Found some new free brushes online and I tried them out cx but in rest, I used the normal hard and soft brush, like usual

I'm so happy with the way it ended up looking!!! <3 And it didn't take me so long to finish it!
I was really nervous at one point with the color and the shades, but just because the grey version looked really good and wanted to achieve the same tones for the colored one too.
I'll explain:
When you draw something and you don't know what colors should work best for it, just slap some grey tones on the sketch and see if your focal point looks nice in those toness of grey. Then...

This character was on twitter and then on Facebook as being redrawn in a "better" way. I didn't like the artist's idea to create a better version of an anime or any cartoon out there~ the realistic proportions....ahhhhh... there are so many variations that it's a bother to even start talking about it!
I didn't see her anatomy as being a bad anatomy proportion because she hasn't any flaws. She looks like a child... myeah! I'm 26...

YES!! I finished it in only one hour and I'm so damn happy about it! It doesn't look exactly like her, but I needed to study something and also I wanted to see if I can finish it in one hour~ xD I wish I was that fast when I also do fan arts~
I had fun drawing it, I shall try drawing this more often from now on.

It's been a while since I drew only portraits and I had so much fun drawing him. The drawing took me 5 hours or so I guess T_T I wish I was faster just for the sake of having more time for other drawings I want to draw....

The whole day I've been wasting my time by doing nothing much. I woke up in the morning ready to draw the whole day and all... I started sketching some mermaids and after that, I got pretty lazy but I continued by doing this mermaid.
