Finished! The sketch took 6 hrs, inking took 9 hrs, and colors took 3 hrs for a total of 18 hours of work. I think it came out pretty dandy, considering my general lack of experience.
Animation is fun and rewarding! I'm gonna be animating something every month from now on. Count on it!

First of all, I want to display gift art of Lucky on my streams instead of the pink tier rotation, so I am discontinuing that tier. I won't actually be taking down the current rotation for another couple of months though, so the only thing that's changing right now is nobody new can jump onto the pink tier. From now on I'm promising to come out with at least 2 "projects" every month, one SFW and one NSFW. A "project" might be a pinup, digital painting, short animation, or comic. And if I want to do a larger project I'll release a WIP instead. This means I'll be focussing on quality more than quantity, and I'll only be taking commissions that meet that quality.

The layers in this CLIP aren't all that profound, but I thought I'd upload it nevertheless. I was trying to imitate Bimshwel's style by making quick ink layers, doing basic colors underneath, then MERGING layers and drawing on top of them. It definitely makes for a unique style! By the way, if you're ever curious about my arting methods in Clip Studio Paint feel free to ask! I like giving advice to anyone who'll hear it.

Got REALLY experimental with the colors in this one, although it's difficult to tell. A good experience overall, and now I have a better idea about how I like to do shading. And how I like to do shading is NOT how I shaded this piece.
See, apparently Artyl posts all his psd files FOR FREE on his Patreon. So I grabbed a couple pics and studied his shading methods. Multiply and Add layers? I gave it a try, learned some stuff, made mistakes, and that's how you improve your art, folks.

I can already see several details that need adjusting before I move to ink. It's good for me to do complicated projects in steps because if I put it down and pick it up later I often see things I didn't see the last time I looked at it.
