About the Streams and update

OK, there were a ton of streams in september, and not that many in October. Part of the reason why is that I was away from my computer for a week and a half. The other part is that my connection has been horribly unreliable. We've had the modem replaced, and cables rewired, but sadly I can't stream at all. 

That means I'm probably going to refund this month's 3.50 tier and possibly adjust the tier. To what, I'm not sure. But its not fair for people to pay for a tier and not get its reward...

Back from Birthday Vacation

To the Future

Last art I’m posting before the big move. This is the finished colored version of the sketch commission tier on my Patreon this month. The person who commissioned this sketch did not request or pay for a colored version, but he has supported me financially for years so he’s earned it. It was also super easy to do and with my hectic schedule right now, easy is the order of the day. See you all in September.

Patreon Reward Updates and Goal Updates

I've mentioned before that this Patreon would be ever evolving. It evolves based on feedback, and what happens when I post content. The Toph comic was mostly positive, mostly encouraging, but I noticed that after the comic was posted patronage dropped. Part 1 is Done (basically) - News and Plans

Almost done with part 1

Part 1 of Toph Heavy will be completed sometime next Tuesday. Would be sooner, but work is getting in the way. Sorry about that.

Just thought I'd share

Light is something I take very seriously. I go back and forth about where light hits, and how high the contrast is between it an its shadows. In order to render the light of Azula's hideout properly, I had to map out where light would enter, and how it would hit the room.  It starts off very contrasty, but azula and toph move towards the center, and the lighting becomes more even. This allows for dark non detailed backgrounds, and well lit figures.  The door and the bed are a bit big i...

Rendering Begins

Bad Dialogue is here, so here are some plot details.

OK. So I'm a bad writer. I realize I'm a bad writer. So I'm just having fun with this. 

The concept is that Korra prodded Oldest Toph to tell her who Lin's dad really is, and Toph regails the group with tales of her sexual history. Something Lin isn't too happy about. The first comic is about how Toph and Azula started getting down. The second comic is a flash back which will show stuff like why she wears the dark lipstick, and how she reacted to her "boulders" growing i...

1. Put in the dialogue (so you at least have something to read.)

2. Make a cover. (Which I may stream later tonight.)

3. Shade the comic. (Which is a longish process, and that I'm not going to post any pages of until its completely done. So you won't see anything for around 11 days...at best. )

Update - TFW you're remoting in from work to do work

I was wrong. Couldn't get the flats done by wednesday last week. Some of the designs were more complex than I thought. Anything with Fire Nation soldiers, or that random guy that gets possessed took a long time. I'll definitely have them done by Wednesday, and then it's on to rendering.
