I've been experimenting with relative line weight a lot recently. As part of that process, I was periodically checking the low-res results on the lines for the most recent comic (as of this point - http://www.egscomics.com/?id=2032 ). In short, I saved this particular test, as I thought it might be nifty to share :)

Who's That Sketchémon?!

WIP Sketchbook. I ink the outlines first, as those are more consistently heavy lines and help make the rest of the inking go faster. I realized this basically gave me silhouettes by default, so... Yeah. This exists now.

All Male Wallpaper

With the last batch of Sketchbooks finally unleashed upon the world, if anyone knows what they want for their sketchbook rewards at this point, the sooner the better. I know for some of you already, though I'll likely want to double check if I heard from you a while ago.

I will be unleashing the sketchbooks on the site itself on Monday. I intend to finish them before then, however, and will post at least a few here for $3+ patrons over the weekend. There will be 17 in total.

I'm scheming to EVENTUALLY (like, probably not until sometime in 2015) merge the 75, 100, and 150 rewards into a single tier. The amount contributed doesn't have to match the reward level, so I figure having just the $75 tier with additional options depending on how much the real amount is is the most efficient way to handle it while keeping a limited number of sketchbooks. Having them be three separate tiers is sorta messing with how I set the limits ^^;

Okay, the way it works means I can reduce the limits without auto-booting people from that tier, so it can just gradually reduce over time, which I'm fine with :)

Due to simply having way too much of a workload, I'm planning to reduce the amount of available rewards each month. I need to gracefully figure out exactly how to do that, however, as every reward tier is currently filled to its limit, and they tend to only remain open for about a half hour before someone fills the open slot. Granted, this is the sort of problem one wants to have, but I really do need to reduce the number of sketchbooks, and I figured I'd best give a heads up ASAP even if I hav...

If people want the rest of the Vs splash panels from that comic, I'll add them later. This is my personal favorite of the four. Sarah's pose is meant to be something right out of Yu-Gi-Oh!, while Sam is... Actually, I'm not sure what he's doing. Maybe he's a fan of Gambit from The X-Men?
