Tales of Intrigue - September Teaser

And we're off.   Scratch made textures are time consuming but so worth it. I've got a very clear vision for this story, so results should happen relatively quickly. Setting a Soft due date of the 17th for part 1. Part 2 follows at the end of the month.

Ok, so I have too many ideas and it's hard for me to pick when I can only do one per month. I'm going to take the creative pressure off by asking you to choose this months story concept.

No idea why I started on this one - I think I felt like a creative challenge. Helen is now available in the portfolio, should you feel the urge to start a family with her.

Recreating Elastigirl Pixar style was easy- there are 3d rips out there most Disney and movie cartoon characters to work with. Redesigning her in my own style and imagining what she'd look like without the cartoon and stylizing was challenging, but i'm really pleased with the results, and the uniform design worked out...

One hour speedrun character Design, Svanhilde

A personal test to see how fast i could design a character from scratch using all my developed presets and resources with no character reference to work to.  I recorded the whole thing in HQ, it may provide some interesting insight into my studio work. Archive Dump; Cutting room floor

Just to illustrate the level of unused and extra work i made for myself from the last short story, there was a lot of second guessing myself on extra camera angles in a tight space and I feel i lost the direction of the narrative at least once. The goal was to keep part 2 to 30 frames, I had 78 to choose from, which along with part 1 makes over 100 - so i definitely need to be more decisive and concise, if I'm going to be producing these stories every month.

I completely forgot about this character, which is a shame considering how much time i spent fine detailing the lines of the hands and skin. there are a couple of things that need fixing such as nipples bump map and the hair, but she was worth a full render even at this point in revisions.

Astrid Hofferson Remaster, 2nd revision.

I'm always looking to improve characters, this one i wasn't 100% happy with. I finally found the right hair for this character and it really makes her. I can actually see people pointing to this character now and saying she looks like Astrid from How to Train your Dragon.

Tales of Intrigue: Tess and water Pt3 End

Thanks for your patience - I just didn't know where - or how to end this one. For a short story it just ballooned (ha) into a 60-70 frame sequence. I ended up with a lot of extra unused frames and some serious burnout from working on the same theme for a month with a major writers block. 

Feeling Under the Weather

I've been feeling unwell the last couple of days  - and before anyone panics, it has nothing to do with respiratory distress - just good ol' fashioned sniffles, sneezes, fatigue, aches and headaches with a low fever. Seems you can still get regular sick in this day and age.

To a Rapidly Growing Audience

Since I started making a real commitment to patreon and adding regular updates I was very surprised and taken aback by how quickly things developed over the past two months! Athena

 I'm building a portfolio of characters with distinct and natural  features - one the goals is to avoid 'Sameface' syndrome and work on  natural shapes and figures. Athena is definitely a winner  on all counts. I thought I'd treat you to some renders of her enthusiastically making a baby with you from a first person perspective.  

The Greeks had a  particular name for this phenotype (which escapes me) - and instead of  'Agnes' I think I'll rename her A...

Dilexean Race concept.

Mammalian Humanoid Species whose legs comprise a large proportion of their mass and 8ft height. Limited chameleon abilities, brighter colors indicate strong emotions. Dilaxeans excel at running, jumping and also kicking people through walls.

This one was very fun to design and a good learning curve on how to re-rig skeletons to accommodate custom morphs.

Workshop Sculpting

Behind the scenes, this is what I'm doing when I go quiet on DA and Patreon; Fucktons of prep work, morphs sculpts, textures, overlays, poses, expressions, props and Lights.

It may not be much to look at but this non render work is another phase of self improvement. Rounder bellies, term bellies that drop, hips of various shapes and sizes, mixed together create something i might be happy with in my terminal self critique.

Commission: Feldusk Remastered.

Definitely larger than life - Feldusk's character continues to evolve. 

As a rule, I tend to decline extreme morphs and commissions these days, the work becomes exponential after a point where the proportions start breaking meshes. Having said that, I always enjoy working with Feldusk, one of the few people I'd consider taking on this kind of difficult work with, they are always very understanding and considerate of whats possible in 3D compared to the reference material.

This character remains property of Tesla, so any more commissions of Laele will be exclusively through them, but I'm hoping there's plenty more to add to this character's folder.

Feldusk

Some renders of Feldusk's Character from the archives with their permission! A sequence where Fel keeps getting the wrong kind of gains no matter how hard they try.

This was a challenging test for new morphs, some rather womanly curves, and how to pose thick hips and thighs effectively. 

Cyberpunk

Character and outfit design, this is working inevitably working toward something lewd,  for something like a cyberpunk/sci-fi story or feature.

Tales of Intrigue: Tessa and Water, Part 1

Time to deliver on a commitment to my beloved $5 patrons! In *part one* of this months 'Tales of Intrigue!', Terese has a chance to privately indulge a secret kink - or so she thought!

Animating for beginners

From my attempts at animating In Daz Studio before I decided it wasn't feasible.

 I definitely don't plan on making a feature out of it, for the sake of my sanity, Daz does not make this an enjoyable process, no motion capture and a terrible interface to the point of being maddening means only the simplest scenes look any good and take the best part of a day to set up.

Surrogate Room Mate

You blame your college roommate for giving you a kink for pregnant  women. When she told you she was going to become a surrogate to pay for  university you did everything to try and talk her out of it. The thought  of having a baby used to terrify you. But watching her grow was  surprising - it looked so natural, even fulfilling.

Jelly Golem

This blue creature superficially resembles a female form, but seems to be made out of a translucent, moist gel. You can immediately tell what whoever created it was most concerned with, as the face has only crude detail while the breasts and ass are rendered with as much perfection as can be managed in the medium. In spite of the lack of expression on the thing's face, it exudes a sense of malice.

Haircut

This was something that happened to me, I hadn't been for a few months and I had no idea what I was in for. I understand a girl's still got to work - I'm just glad I don't blush, because she decided her belly made a good head rest for me.

Extra pictures with a some artistic impression of what your personal space feels like when a very pregnant barber is all up in your hair. And the strange dreams that persisted for days afterwards.
