Here we are, back in the swing of getting work done for the upcoming release. Took a few days to get things calm back at home, but once I caught up on sleep, I was good to go. On top of the combo scene (see below), we've packed in a pretty big night for Sammy, a visit with Apollyon (aka Polly), and some time spent with Robin and Kara. Here we are with the initial update for 0.22.0. Would've come sooner, but I had family in the hospital for a few days (they're fine and home now), so I didn't have a lot of free time until today. Nothing like staying overnight in an Emergency Room fighting for someone to treat your loved one and then going into work after they get a room to absolutely wipe out a day and then some. This month's Patron-exclusive wallpapers feature our lovely ladies going out dancing. This features a custom location we built for the game and have visited a few times already. One of my favorite features of this spot was that a lot of the colored spot lighting is on rotating objects to get a more dance club feel to the lighting. Of course, this sometimes throws in some weird shadows that force us to re-shoot, but for the most part it's a fun location to use.

Okay, update #2. Most of the code/story/screens are done and we're polishing the build up. Testing it for functionality and working on making sure some of the more decision-specific sequences work as intended. Specifically, there's now a block of code that gets slipped in every few days to check and see if you've made a choice about Apollyon and the Remnant. And, if you've progressed Apollyon, you should start seeing scenes with her pop up every so many days.

From my experience in the corporate sector, the week between Christmas and New Years is usually deadsville. A lot of people take off that week, or come in but are mentally checked out. Nothing good is happening before the new year, so don't even bother scheduling a meeting. Not for us, though. Even medicated for a cold I picked up at a social event (thanks people, you're filled with disease), we're hard at work getting all the content for 0.21.0 assembled and ready for release.

All right, we got this one in well before the Christmas/New Year holidays hit. The release schedule (below) will make sure everyone has the 0.20.0 before they're dragged off to required family get-togethers. For myself, my folks moved to about an hour's drive away, so I'll be out-of-pocket for that weekend. Considering it's the first time in 15 years I've been able to drive to see them, I don't mind so much.

All right, here we are with update #2. 0.20.0 is in a functional state, with the usual last-week work on the schedule: re-writes, adding additional content, filling in gaps in scenes once we see them functioning, and working out some of the wrinkles that pop up during testing.
