And here it is, the new update is ready to go and scheduled for release over the following week. As you can see by the update notes below, this one has a fair amount of content packed into it. It also offers the first opportunity for players to finish a storyline. There's a simple formula to score how much Qi you get for doing so. If you choose not to, you can extend your time with Mina, but be careful not to keep her around too long.

All right, we are deep in the final stages for the upcoming 0.10.0 build for The Interim Domain. There's a lot of stuff packed into this release and we're just polishing it up before the upcoming launch. Multiple story-lines are heading towards big moments and reveals.

This is the last update of 2022, or the first of 2023 depending on when you read it. I'd planned to get it out sooner, but this week was crazy at the day job. Unusually, the week between Christmas and New Years is Deadsville, population zero. In the late 80s/early 90s, most every shut down at the end of the year because everything after December 15th was a Next Year Problem.

And here we are, with the new release looming. I know a lot of you were chomping at the bit after the cliffhanger of the last episode. And I wanted to have this ready to go before the Christmas Holiday, because I, like a lot of people, will be taking a few days downtime after a long year. I would say more about the update, but after 0.08.0, there's a lot that's super spoilery, meaning that a good portion of the main story's screens are off limits for samples this go around.

All right, by now you know how this works. We're in the polishing state of working on the latest build with a functioning alpha of the update running. We're making sure nothing's broken and putting in the audio code and some story flags. There's also a small bit of code added for a less-than-elegant solution to the Choice Menu if you somehow manage to get more than 10 choices, which I'm not even sure is possible at this point. Maybe someone wanting to see if they can break the game'll hold on...

But, now that we're eight releases (and a fair bit of saucy moments) into The Interim Domain, we're far enough into the game that we can start spending more time focusing on the cast. Rule of thumb for NSFW wallpapers has always been that until they show up in the game, they don't get a pinup, so... let's start with two of our early love interests: Mina and Kaitlin.

And here we are, with 0.08.0 getting out before the long holiday (American Thanksgiving). Since we'll be taking a few days to spend time with the family, we wanted to make sure to get the latest build into everyone's hands. That's not to say the time off won't be used for development, but not ALL of it. :)

All right, here we are with 0.07.0 on the way. There's a fair bit to unpack here as many of the story-lines start to hit their stride. Also, we'll start to see the separate threads in the main story come together. A cast that felt very isolated early on will begin to overlap as the narrative dictates.
