I might be late with the page this week, so here's a piece of tattoo flash I did for Mermay2018. I couldn't resist going the monster route for my mermen (yes, there are others I did as well).

There's a classic tattoo design called the "rock of ages" which depicts a woman who has survived a shipwreck in a stormy sea, saved by a stone cross jutting out of the ocean. She usually has her arms wrapped around said cross.

There was this short lived club in SF, at a dive in the lower Haight. It played punk rock and hip hop and if you haven’t been in a mosh pit full of horny gays you haven’t lived. It was the best, and I think it may be where I met my friend Nash. It was called Fiend, and they used this image on their fliers. I had no idea until today that the amazing Brad Rader drew it.
