R.I.P. Aron Eisenberg

Saturday the actor who played Nog on Deep Space 9 was hospitalized and later died. It isn’t public from what yet. He was a fan favorite, a charismatic actor and a character who had one of the biggest arcs of any Trek series character. I don’t often get choked up over an actor’s passing, but this one has done it for me.

Get ready...

I'm still working on the finishing touches for sending #1 off to the printer, but I don't want to leave my Droogies hanging here. So, I started working on Stray Bullet pt.2, Fire in the Rain. I'll be posting pages from this regularly and wrapping up #1 details concurrently. Just a few scenes here to do (on pt.2) before we pass the point of the last page of the original version and on into new territory! 

Poster Finished!

Here’s the finished poster art that I had posted a sketch from last week... it came out alright 😝

The posters and the author of the book (Jake O’Kelly/the Smell of Bad Decisions) will be at the Prism booth at San Diego ComicCon next weekend... and so will we! So I’ll get to grab a copy of the thing with all the copy and text on it as well.

Inside Front Cover - Stray Bullet

Hey here's the inner front cover I just finished. I thought I might do a short "story so far" comic here but character intros that tell what the bare bones are in the bios seemed more clean. Besides, "The Real Me" from the Bent Comix Sampler* serves that purpose in comic form already. I'd also considered including that but the art is fairly different. I have some decisions to make re: the logo, and I think after a hell of a time trying to make everything fit on the cover AND have my signature torn margin with the masthead info fit as well, I’ve decided to ditch that torn margin, which means this will be my first book in 15 years without it! lol

 I have 2 comics that are at somewhere between 90 and 95% ready to print. I think it's about time to get them done and printed so I wanted to ask YOU which to focus on first.
