Second Keloid treatment today

I'm trying to be optimistic that I won't be writhing in agony after my treatments today. Last time was torture but hopefully today will be better. We've got a plan to stay ahead of the pain, and hopefully we will be successful. I'll let you guys know how I'm doing tomorrow. Keep me in your thoughts. I hope this will all be worth it in the end.

Keloid Journey Pt. 2

So about 45 minutes after my treatment I was in agonizing pain for about 7 hours straight with no relief. I sat on my couch screaming out in pain every 5 seconds bawling my eyes out. My skin was burning on the inside, all 3 areas that were treated would often hurt at the same time. The worst was my chest area, but that mixed with my shoulders shooting pain was just awful.

Wow! After Keloid treatment

So the cream was absolutely fantastic. I did not expect it to work that well. The injections were tolerable, it felt like a couple of bee stings and then would go numb, so after the initial poke, not too bad, just weird. The laser treatment - I didn't feel at all. So right now the worst part is the itchiness. My skin burns a bit and I feel like I have a thousand mosquito bites, but I will take that over pain any day! Not at my computer so I'll add pictures when I get home! Sorry I'm scatter brai...

Keloid Journey

(Yes my life has a lot of journeys ha!)

So today I'm going in to receive steroid injections as well as laser treatment for my scars. (Sorry I don't have the technical terms, if I find out what they are I will add them to this post.)

My keloids have started to become more painful and itchy, and they have grown to a size that's starting to catch on things (like jackets or seat belts) that cause them a lot of pain and irritation.

This month is a special month where I'm sure everyone is having a great time with the Halloween spirit! Time for a con update!

So right now, I'm working on going to NYCC. I'm working on finding affordable places to stay and flights.

I did however, book LA Comic Con for you guys!!! YOU VOTED so I'm headed out there in October!
