There are almost 3300 squashed spheres serving as dots in this picture. Half of them were placed manually. The other half was duplicated and rotated over to the other side of the background. I'm not THAT patient. ._.

Getting the hang of this now tho! It's not very easy, even with all this technology doing like 30% of the work for me. Huge respect for actual dot painters holy shit.

That's her name now. Yes, I came up with some interesting things for her!

Jinjing-Yu 2.0 is the daughter of a half-cow, half-demon, half-angel, and a rainbow god. That's why she has herbivore teeth and magical curly hair made of pure rainbow particles that faintly glow in the dark. Yes, a Secret Commission for a Randochi this time. Was supposed to be based on Nirvana's Nevermind album cover IF YOU COULDN'T TELL. Came out quite nice, and it was some experimental fun. Learned like two or three things, which is excellent.

Now I'm getting warmed up. This is more or less the direction I was going to go with Alinga and Alkina. The background is inspired by Aboriginal art, which is an excellent thing, and I really didn't do it justice, so just look it up. It's pretty amazing.

Next up: more surrealism and less physics! Also a better background! The "dots" definitely could've been finer. Also placed better in some areas. ._.

Though to be fair, this is decent for a first try. Gotta polish up the techn...

I made a lot of high-effort art recently, and learned a huge amount of things. It's left me feeling extremely drained. This piece marks the end of that for a while and now I will focus on making some simple stuff. Gotta take an active break. Hopefully it won't turn out I'm unable to anymore.

Fun fact: not counting the grass, hair, and tessellation, there are over 35 million polys in this scene, and the file itself takes over 400mb,...
