I've been experimenting a lot with a new way of finding poses and it's been a lot of fun. I'm still not the best at anatomy but I know enough to get by in a pinch. And experimenting with more difficult poses is one way to force yourself to learn more a lot faster.
I like how expressive this image came out and the depth of the color and shading here. I was experimenting with a different way to color as well which is both fast and very lively.

Anyway, for no particular reason I just drew my favorite ladies to draw in really skimpy work out gear. Also the style is a lot more exaggerated than I usually do. Susan there in particular was a spur of the moment sketch but even though her neck is unusually long in that drawing I liked the overall look. Like it would be a nice look for an animated cartoon.

I think I must've posted this one before. I'm testing out this new brush that's getting these nice painterly effects in Clip Studio. One issue though is that my behavior with the brush tends to favor these fuzzy edges. I need to consciously get better at utilizing hard edges when rendering color. You get beautiful effects when you know how to do both at the same time.
