I think... because for lack of a better idea, I think I'm going to name them Hannah and Handsy. Because Handsy seems like the kind of fun name a kid would make up for their imaginary friend.

Just another quick post before I get some sleep. Obviously this drawing is exaggerated in a number of ways but I think it comes together fairly nicely.

I don't really use screen tones all that often. While they'll work amazingly in print, it can be hard to predict how they're reproduced on screens. Screen tones are a technique, used often in manga, to replicate grey on paper using only dots of black ink.

Buisness Launch (lineart version)

Principia is a character I haven't talked about a lot yet but I think, aside from Julie, I currently imagine her as the other beating heart of the series. Not too much to add here. I think suffice to say, Julie wears her emotions broadly on her face. Though she does have "resting upset face" I think you'll REALLY KNOW when she's actually upset about something.

Save the World

Just a random page, I don't have anything particular in mind for what the story is here. But I'd been wanting to draw Julie being a badass. So I have the form of the badass moment but not the context of it. I think a lot of writers can get themselves in trouble by making stories this way. Outsiders

This probably needs some context for my followers that aren't really following DC comics super closely. (Batman and the Outsiders 2019 issue #2) This is just referring to a moment where Cassandra Cain and Duke Thomas (a relatively new addition to the bat mythology) teamed up to do an attack that completely backfired on them. They're the young blood in the new cast of Outsiders so they've got some kinks to work out, working together.

Miriam, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night (sketch)

I've been enjoying this game, Bloodstained, a lot more than I expected. It's pure old school Castlevania. I actually wasn't a big fan of a lot of the older Castlevania games back when they came out but I think I'm better able to appreciate them now. Bloodstained may disguise itself as Gothic Horror but it's actually pretty charming and cute and silly.

Ivy's Bat (kinda kinky, kinda creepy)

It's creepy cause that's a creeping vine.

Anyway, for a lot of people, the Ivy vine mask was the coolest of the masks. And it was something I wanted to expand upon for a while because there are lots of elements of domination and beauty and stuff that's all very appealing to me. I thought the effect still comes out pretty cool. Though I'm not quite sure why Ivy swapped out Cass's boots for high heels.

Aggressive Sketches

These might not be immediately recognizable characters but if you watched a single episode of "Aggretsuko" on Netflix, you'd get it. And I would wholeheartedly recommend that show.

I think I'd like to learn how to replicate more cartoon styles. There are some that fit me just fine, like any sort of anime chibi style is pretty easy for me to copy.
