A Quick Recharge

Hey it's Aile again!

I think the Megaman fans told me on twitter that Aile is officially human. But by that point in the Megaman universe, the line between human and machine is super blurry. So far no one REALLY complained about me making Aile into a "robot" underneath. But I think they were just excited to see some cute Megaman fanart that they let the canon slide a little.

It's not like Megaman has a very solid canon anyway.

Rival Schools (wip)

I wanted to draw that character that just got announced for Street Fighter 5, Akira from an old game, Rival Schools. She just looks really rad (and kinda Cass Cain like) so I started this piece.

A work in progress that I got really frustrated with. It's not really that bad, looking at it. But I was getting to a point where I was mentally not seeing enough progress for the work that was being put into it. And it got very tiresome after a little while.

I think it's easy to lose sigh...

I dunno if I'll finish this sketch because nothing sounds less fun than adding lineart on all the details on Master Chief's armor and not getting paid to do it, but I think it's still a pretty cool sketch. I'm happy with this pic. It's kinda simply but I think it's also rather evocative. I've spent a long time practicing how to get a lot done with using limited elements. I'm not the best at it, but I will say that on something like this, restraint not only saves you time working on a piece. It also works better than filling every corner of the image with detail!

Just Mario Things

I drew these characters from memory, which is a nice exercise now and then. I didn't want to just be copying all the official art. By doing it without checking the canon details, I'm more free to make up my own interpretation.

I actually really liked how all these drawings came out. I'm thinking I want to do more cute and squishy art, or find some way to bring that squishiness into my regular drawings. It can only help the pinups look more lively and pretty anyway.

Gotta keep flexible (kinky!)

I've been working on softening the curves and lines in my art and I think it's working well. I'm also just getting more... confident with anatomy and stuff which has improved speed and made drawing even complicated poses like this feel more natural.

I'd been in a zomibe/monster mood lately. I was playing Resident Evil 6 with Brellom and commenting on how it sorta mixes body horror, gore, sexiness with a lot of explosions and guns. It's a fun game to play with a friend, boring to play alone, but I digress.

It can be tricky to say... switch lanes when you're popular for one thing. If people were following me for all my cute art, if I started sharing full on Silent Hill type horror on a regular basis followers might wonder who you are...

Magical Girl Ashley

Okay so like... I just wanted to draw some cute and or sexy Sailor Moon style outfits. With Ashley in a classic simple magical girl thing. Her mom in a Queen Beryl outfit that is waaaaay more revealing than it should be. And because I wanted to include her but was kinda lazy, Colette in a Zoisite type soldier for the queen suit.

This was fun but I wish I had the energy to clean up the drawing some more. The Ashley outfit's actually quite nice.

Question, Psyduck?

I love drawing Psyduck. Sometimes I'll draw Misty too. Anyway, if you guys aren't one of my LONG time fans, you probably wouldn't have known about Question Duck. It was my old webcomic! It had a very specific story for every page, where Question Duck and his friend, Guy, would visit some scenic place. And QD would ask a question. And much fun was had.

You can still read the strips here, but Smackjeeves the free host, changed how you view pages to look more like Webtoons and now the webs...
