Amazing Bird Facts!

Well, two bird facts.  Like pretty far into the episode. I spent a few hours with Jon and Justin eating chicken and wandering around the beach and here it is as an episode! (Shorter than a few hours thankfully!)

I also say a special message at the end to all of you!!  Just saying thank you for everything!

Please enjoy!

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Review

Hello, space marines!

I finally made my way through all that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare has to offer, and here’s my score. It represents the sum of IW’s many parts. With so many shooters coming our way, I like to focus on what’s being done differently, what lessons have been learned, and how unique are the different experiences. The FPS genre on fire right now, so there’s definitely something for everyone. This game is a bargain. I just got into Modern Warfare a couple o...

Tabletop Escapades - Episode 33 "Desperate Struggle"

This week on Tabletop Escapades, the party continues to fight against an overwhelmingly powerful foe.

Putting the pressure on the party has yielded some very interesting results. I love seeing players make tough decisions knowing that it could very well not work out. Another thing I like about this situation is I feel like everyone has had a moment or two where they shine and do something no one else in the party would. Anyway, I hope you enjoy and I'll see you next week! Happy Thanksgiving!!!...

Frame Trap - Episode 17 "The Good Vibes of Pokemon"

On this lengthy episode of Frame Trap, we settle in with some Pokemon talk. The crew discusses Sun and Moon as well as what they want out of the future of the series. We also dig deep into other big recent releases such as Watch Dogs 2, Dishonored 2, and the Gwent closed beta. It's not just videogames this episode, however, since things like the new Metallica album and the Fantastic Beasts movie make their way into the conversation. Last but certainly not least, there's a brand new segment calle...

This week's Group Stream Night

Hi Allies!

As usual, I'm here to poll you on the game we'll play for this week's Group Stream Night. What's unusual is that this is the first time I'm writing one of these on a week where I won't appear on Group Stream Night myself. Feels weird! Anyway we're looking at Overcooked Gourmet Edition, since that DLC serves as an excuse to play Overcooked again, Killing Floor 2, and Samurai Shodown VI. Watch Dogs 2 Review

Without further ado, here's my review for Watch Dogs 2. Since Ubisoft started having online troubles before launch, I purposely waited to see how things would pan out. The result is that the company disabled most of the online functionality before the game launched to keep it from interfering with the single player experience. As of now they're hoping to flip the switch back on this weekend, but the last notice made no guarantees.

I definitely think Ubisoft made the right call, and for t...

Easy Update 35 Making a song with Ashly

Hi friends!

I had a lot of fun sitting down with Ashly Burch and writing a song together!  We didn't really have any ideas going in, it took 1 hour and 45 mintues, and here it is!  This episode is the song and then a cut down version of watching us come up with the song.  haha  it's a silly good time and there wasn't enough light in the room so the shot looks pretty grainy, sorry about that!

I hope you enjoy it! We had fun making it!

Brandon Sun, Kyle Moon - Part 1

Greetings fellow trainers!

All you Pokemon fans out there are probably several hours into either Sun or Moon. We’re starting a bit late after not receiving the game early, and taking some time off for the Thanksgiving holiday. But in Part 2 of the sequel to Brandon Plays Pokemon, Kyle and I are going to reconvene and discuss our progress in the series’ newest twin-adventures. I have no idea what starter I’m going to pick, what my party is going to look like, what updates to expect, and i...

The EZA Dungeons & Dragons Community Thread

Hey! I've heard from a bunch of people that they want to play Dungeons & Dragons but they don't have a group to play with. I thought I could make a community thread on the official forums to encourage you all to play together online. There are more details in the post. Hopefully many wonderful roleplaying sessions will happen as a result of this.

Tabletop Escapades - Episode 32 "A Familiar Threat Returns"

Today on Tabletop Escapades, an evil the group faced before strikes once again. This time it's more powerful than ever.

I've wanted to throw a very, very difficult encounter at the group for a long time just to see how they would handle it and I think it's produced interesting results. Hopefully you agree!

Community Comments Video - October 2016

As you probably expected, our community’s comments were a little spooky in October. But there was a lot of big gaming news as well: Nintendo Switch, Playstation VR, and Red Dead Redemption 2 created plenty of opinions and expectations. And as usual, special attention is given to games, new and old, that allies might have missed like Superhot, Silver, and Slain: Back from Hell. Apologies for this arriving later than usual. The month began with lots of projects to finish and world events to stre...

Easy update 34

This week's Easy Update is hopefully a nice dose of much needed Jolly!

The song is called Mistakes Were Made, which I wrote and recorded on Monday, so any parallels one might find within it are totally coincidental.  I started at the end with this one, making the last part first and the first part last.  Sometimes that’s a fun way to build out a song, see where you’re heading before you know how you got there.  Wasn’t my intention, but that’s how it ended up.  Plus ...

Cup of Jones - 11/11/16

After the events of this week I felt the need to get some thoughts on camera, leading to a 100% editorial, 0% questions episode. As we face the challenge of keeping a generally pleasant and welcoming community running, our chanting of love and respect is (in my opinion) one of our strongest assets. Here are my two cents on what those words mean, to EZA, to the world, and to each other. This goes for all times, not just elections, not just the holidays. Make it your mission to meet new people and...

Dragon Quest Builders Review

So, yeah, you could say I got a little obsessed with this game. It has everything I need in an RPG, other than challenging combat. But sometimes it's great to play a game that gives you less stress and lets you get more creative. I've streamed this game a bunch too if you want to get a closer look at some of my bases.
