Fun Game Monday Poll

We made it to the credits of Starwinder: The Ultimate Space Race, so now  it's time to peer into our barrel of Fun Games to find our next full playthrough. There are no rules for selecting a Fun Game. You can google the title freely, you could have played it before, your mom or dad could have done the character art. No big deal. These are just four games I'd like to play:
Chibi-Robo! - I grabbed this from the GameTrailers library draft we held last year, and now I finall...

EZAnime - Episode 8 "FLCL" Audio Only

NOTE: Sorry for the awkward edit that happens at around the 30-minute mark. I cut out about two and half minutes of the conversation because we were speculating about the general premise of the upcoming seasons 2 and 3 of FLCL. We didn't realize, however, that Adult Swim has already given a general premise for the show, basically making the discussion pointless and potentially misleading to people not in the know. I didn't want that, so that's why I cut out the very small chunk. Here's a link fo...

Cup of Jones - 08/03/17

Summertime! As I write this I’m about to head to our beach house for Easy Livin’. Feels nice to have a Cup of Jones done before the big event. It was a bummer rushing into San Diego Comic-Con this year without doing a Cup-date. This is a strictly Q&A episode, and some of these questions might be a bit old. Still, they represent some concerns that I still think are being brought up in our community, and hopefully these answers can provide some clarification, or the beginning of a potentia...

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Preview

Good morning!

Last week, I got the opportunity to meet with Ubisoft and play a couple hours of their zany new strategy game. Liking it quite a bit so far, and always appreciate the chance to see how a game's coming along. By the way, the boss intro they didn't want me to record is actually the focus of their new trailer, although I would still say they left out the best parts. https://twitter.com/Ubi...

Box Peek Update

The last time I said anything about Box Peek, I promised to give you an update if there were no episodes by August 1st. Since that’s today’s date, it looks like I owe you an update.

We’re frankly not close to the premiere of episode one. I made a couple of dumb errors in my estimations, first among those was assuming that E3 was really not going to be a distraction. But really, I forgot how long good stuff takes to write. Two months ago I thought I would sit down and crank it all out lik...

Splatoon 2 Review

While the mix hasn’t changed drastically, Splatoon 2 is still fresh, addictive, and exciting.

Sorry for the delay on this one. If you hadn't heard, I was on track to get it done well ahead of launch, when my Switch broke and had to be sent in for repairs. That said, the later timing has its perks, and I was able to test features that wouldn't have been available yet like the invitation system accessed through Nintendo's new app as well as local multiplayer.

I hope you enjoy both...

Note: I messed up and lost the SD card from the camera so that is why there is no camera shot of us this time. I tried to cover up as much of the episode with other footage, but there are a few spots where I just use the show logo to cover the gaps. Hopefully this turn...
