Ready for a preview of next month's main map? Good :)
We decided that it would be nice to have a map that tied in with Marracombe Mill, your March reward map. In the adventure supplement we have a plot hook involving a grain goddess angered by the miller, and so we thought having her temple would be a useful addition, and give you some flexibility in how your players deal with that storyline. It's also useful to have temples, full stop.

Hey,
We've started a little project that will run over the next few months, and this is the first part of it. Let me explain. We started selling maps on DrivethruRPG over 5 years ago, and it's no exaggeration to say the standard of our art has changed somewhat. We were looking at some of our very early free maps, and thought that they don't really show new customers what we're about.
So, we're going to be working our way through our very early free maps and updating them for...

Hi there,
We've just sent download links for the March rewards to everyone that has had their Patreon payment processed successfully.
It's certainly a bumper set this month - two multilevel maps (the mill & alchemist's lab), a 30x30 Icelandic beach, a 20x20 Fallen Stronghold (with both gold & non-gold versions), a 5 page adventure supplement for the mill, and a one page resource for the Fallen Stronghold. Plus, if you're on the Sci-Fi tier you'll also have our cyberpunk Ne...

We loved reading through your suggestions for the Third Map, based around the theme of 'pirates'. There were lots of great ideas, and it was tricky to narrow it down. We've tried to get a good mix of locations and themes, and each one is quite different, so hopefully there'll be something that catches your 'aye, Cap'n....

Hi everyone,
For April's third map, we'd like your suggestions around a theme. We'll pick our favourites and then create a poll where you can vote for the idea you like best.
So, the theme is 'pirates', since the Ghosts of Saltmarsh supplement due out in a while looks very exciting!
Your idea should be a fantasy map, and would work well as a single level 20x20 or 20x30 map.
Please put your ideas in the comments below :)

Hi everyone,
Thanks again for your support. Here's the details for our planned schedule for March

Hey there!
Last day of the month, and we've got a double set of goodies for you :)
We've just released a new map set on DrivethruRPG. It's a multiple level set called 'Down The Drain'. The upper level is a city map with a drain grating, and then there are three intermediate levels (can be placed in any order), and the lower level is a cavern and ruin.
It wa...

Last month we asked you for suggestions as to the Third Map, and our theme was a location that would be really useful for your campaign. Our favourite option was Jörg Pentz's icy coastline map, and we immediately could picture how it would look. We're happy with how it's turned out.
So, this 30x30 map will be part of the March rewards :)

In March you'll get the third level of the Fallen Stronghold, our 6-part mega-dungeon that we're adding to each month.
Sublevel 2 is a bit of a sub-boss level. With the smashed-in entrance doors on the first level, and then the destruction and gouge marks on the next, it's clear something large has come down here. And in the Feast Hall, amidst the wreckage and rubble, this creature has made it's nest. It clearly likes gold, since it's amassed it in huge amounts. Obviously the adv...

Morning!
Time for a preview of March's Alt-Version map. The winning idea from the poll we held was the Alchemist's Lab (gained almost half of the votes!, and so we've modified the Old Mill map to make it into a suitable location for an alchemist.
There's all manner of strange potions being created in the lab, and the effluent that flows into the river has caused bizarre plants to grow alongside the river - and we can only imagine what that's done to the animals there!

It's preview time! A little while back we asked for some sci-fi suggestions before running a poll of our favourite options. The clear winner was a cyberpunk/bladerunner streets & rooftops map, so here it is - we've named it the Streets of New Atami.
It was lots of fun making the neon lighting and of course, as it's a cyberpunk map, it just has to be set during a rainy night. Otherwise how can we have those lovely reflections?
This map will be in the Sci-Fi reward b...

Yay! The problems over at Drivethru appear to be sorted, and so now, two weeks after it was finished, we can finally let you get The Spectre of Tilleadh Castle, a companion map to Tilleadh Castle in your February rewards bundle.

The Third Map - Winner
Thank you for all of your ideas for the third map. We went through all the ideas and held a grand winner-stays-on fight to decide our favourite.
Winner - The last map standing was Jörg Pentz's idea for a beach leading to cliffs and a ravine heading off inland (picture an Icelandic beach, with black sand and columnar basalt cliffs). The icy scene will also featured a wrecked viking-style ship. It see...

We're sure that this location has been asked for many times, both on our Facebook/Twitter etc, and here on Patreon. When we made the Adventure Supplement for Tilleadh Castle and included an old mill on the location map, we decided a great map for March would be a proper water mill.
We've gone a little crazy here though - and the map of the month will be a multi-level 20x30, with rooftops and three floors for the mill. We looked as some helpful diagrams of the mill me...

Time to get thinking about March's Third Map!
This month we'd like you to tell us about a map that would be really useful for your game or campaign. Where will the party be travelling to soon? Where will they be exploring? What location have you tried to find a map for before your players arrive there?
Remember that the map will be a single level map, and between 20x20 and 30x30 in size (so don't suggest a six level castle! ;) ). It also needs to be a...

We have picked out some of those that we think suit the format here and would like you to vote on the map you wish to see in your March rewards bundle (ie the map you will get at the beginning of March). Other ideas, such as giant or many-tiered maps, have gone on our general 'to-make' list, so thank you very m...

Good morning!
We've been working on the Third Map for February's reward bundle, which was chosen at random from the selection of ideas you provided around the theme of 'New Year'. The winner was CrashGem's idea of a battle inside a clock tower, behind the faces of the clocks. We loved the idea, and it's certainly not a location that's commonly produced as a battlemap, so it should make for exciting and unique encounters in your games.

In January we kicked off the six level mega-dungeon 'The Fallen Stronghold' with the entrance level. Smashed doors and overgrown hallways, with large stairs leading deeper.
In February you'll be receiving Sub-level 1 - the level that contains offices and guardrooms for those that once lived in the stronghold. Something large has smashed its way through the wider corridors and down to the next level, leaving the offices and rooms largely intact, although they are now quiet and abandoned,...

Hey,
We've been very busy working on a new set of maps for Drivethru. This one has been on the planning book for a while, and we decided to tackle it as a big post-Christmas project.
The Moonshine Tavern is a multi-level map (five 30x30 levels), going from a set of sea caves, up through the cellar to the tavern, with an attic and a roof. We decided to also make it a Day & night set, because things change and that can drive story hooks. For one thing, it's low tide in the day, ...

The winner of the Alt-version poll we had a little while back was to turn the Castle in the Swamp into a Lighthouse. We loved this idea - the idea of a windswept wave-battered island, with a lighthouse braving the hazards! So, here it is. It's a set of 30x30 maps. We've decided to give day and night versions, and also have added an extra level to the tower. And, so that you can have adventures where you have to light the beacon, we'll also be including unlit ve...

The title says it all really :) We'd love you suggestions and ideas for March's Sci-Fi map. What sort of location would you like to see? What's missing from the available sci-fi maps that would be really useful to lots of players? What have you always wanted to play on?
Put your suggestions in the comments, and we'll pick our favourites. Then, in a week or so we'll put together a poll and you can pick the sci-fi map we'll make for March.

Time for February's preview of the Sci-Fi map.
We decided to go for something that would be equally at home in a sci-fi game as a modern mystery/pulp game this month, and have made the Desert Star Gate. This is a 20x30 map, and you'll be getting it in two versions - an inactive version and an active version.
Hopefully it should be useful for lots of scenarios, such as discovering an ancient alien artefact and working out how to activate it, or desperately trying to shut the ...

Despite owning the Starfinder rule book since it's release we haven't yet got round to starting a campaign with it. Part of that is finding time to plan the world etc for the campaign. So, we thought that instead of trying to overcome that barrier we would just pick up an Adventure Path from Paizo, and then we can start playing sooner. We're also going to put out a few compatible maps.
So, today we've released Docking Bay 36 - a lovely place to arrive, as long as you're not caught in a ...

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your ideas for the alt-version of The Castle in the Swamp (February's Map of the Month). As usual there was a great range of suggestions, with really imaginative ideas. Some of your ideas that weren't quite right for an alt-version have given us some plans for maps that can be designed from scratch.
We've distilled the huge list into 6 options, and these are:
- Lighthouse castle on rocky island
- Underground Duergar castle
- Di...

Time for a preview, and some ideas from you!
This will be your Map of the Month for February - a 30x30 map showing an inhabited castle in the middle of a marshy swamp, with some ruins suggesting it was once a much grander castle. The castle has a hall and rooms for the owner (and their family), and some limited living areas for the few servants and guards they employ.
