Hey everyone,
At the start of the month we asked you to suggest a Star Wars-inspired location for the Sci-Fi map in June, and then we picked randomly. The winner was something inspired by the Jedi Archives (even though the archives appear to be incomplete....)
We got a bit carried away with it, and it ended up a much bigger map than we had intended - but we wanted to convey the grand architecture of the place.
So, the map ended up being 65 x 65, and two levels!
Due to ...

Hey everyone,
Thanks to everyone that suggested an idea for the alt-version of The Isle of the Dead, your Map of the Month for June. The unique design and layout of it clearly inspired you, and there were some fantastic ideas. We shortlisted it, with great difficulty, to 9, and then finally to 5. So, the 5 ideas are:
A desert monastery. Surrounded by sands, possibly with an associated oasis - a simple monastery community.
A dragon h...

Hey everyone,
Super pleased to preview the next Map of the Month. Inspired by the painting by Arnold Böcklin we've made a sombre Isle of the Dead map. This 30x30 map features a crescent shaped island, with cliffs filled with catacombs, and mournful trees growing in the centre.

This is the first Map of the Month that will have 3 variants (since we are above 625 Patrons). Previews of...

Hey everyone,
We had a few updates to pass on, so figured we'd put them together as a single post.
Over 625 Patrons
First, we're really happy that we've gone past 625 patrons, unlocking two goals. The first means that there will be 3 theme-variants of the Map of the Month. We'll be telling you what they are when we preview the MotM later today.
The second goal is the unlocking of the Year 1 Vault archive to everyone. That means every map from October 2...

Hey everyone,
We'd like you to suggest an idea for June's Sci-Fi map, and then we'll roll a dice and randomly pick which one to make!
And as it's May the 4th - we'd like you to suggest something Star Wars inspired!
It doesn't need to be an exact location from the films - but it does clearly need to be inspired by the Star Wars universe.
Keep in mind that the map will be a single level map, sized between 2...

Hey everyone,
We finally got round adding a rooms set to one of our most popular Sci-Fi sets - the Modular Dark Starship.
Clearly inspired by particular 'Imperial' vessels, this new Rooms set has plenty of iconic locations, as well as generic places.

Hello Patrons! We hope you are all keeping safe and well. A bit of good news here to start the month, plus our post schedule for May.
-- New Goals --
We haven't had any new goals for you for a while as we wanted to make sure we only added things that were useful to you and were viable for us. We've come up with some ideas we hope you will like! Two of these will be unlocked at 625 patrons, which should hopefully mean this month.

Hey everyone,
We're getting near to the end of the Lost Tombs of Cuatemoc megadungeon. Next month we'll be asking you for ideas for the next megadungeon. But before we get ahead of ourselves, here's the penultimate level for Cuatemoc.
Do you dare approach the tomb at the centre of the chamber? That ruby looks tempting..
There's lots of different ways to enter this level, and plenty of opportunity for ability checks, puzzles and danger!
This 20x30 map will be in t...

Hey everyone,
If you recall, the suggestion of making Arrowhead Point into a lighthouse was a popular and frequent suggestion when we asked for alt-version ideas. It wasn't viable as the alt-version, because the intention was to alter the inside only, but we thought that it would make a great Third Map.
So, here it is. There's lots of versions. The day exterior map has some small differences between the regular Arrowhead Point map (taller shadow, small boat on the beach, int...

Hey everyone,
Hope you're all well and keeping safe!
If you recall, for the alt-version this month we wanted you to suggest ideas for the interior of the building on Arrowhead Point. So many great ideas, and we shortlisted it to 10 for the poll.
The winning suggestions were an abandoned church, a Cthulhu-esque house, a smuggler hideout, a nobleman's hunting lodge/getaway, an abandoned wizard's home with interdimensional creep, and the base of a rebel group. You'l...

Hey everyone,
We've got a discount for Patrons for our newest map set to go onto Drivethru.
We were really inspired after making Arrowhead Point, the coastal location for May's Map of the Month. We wanted to make some more coastal maps, and figured it would be useful if, whilst perfectly usable on their own, they would also be good if they joined up to make a long coast.
And what would be even more useful would be if they also joined up with Arrowhead Point..
So, a new...

Hey,
One of our customers & patrons emailed us, and talked about a Dragon graveyard that they're intending to have as the location of their final encounter of a long campaign, and asked if it was something we had or were planning.
We thought it was a great idea, and so earlier this week we started on it. We were super happy with it, but then started imagining it in different environments.. I mean, who can tell where Dragons might choose to go and die...

Hey everyone,
It's a bit of a bumper Sci-Fi set this month. We know that Alien environments are frequently asked for, and so we thought we'd combine that with a fun narrative location.
The Old Scoter has crashed! Oh dear! Skewed to a halt on an alien swamp-world, breaking in half as it skidded. We're giving you two versions of the map featuring the crashed ship -showing either external or internal views of the ship. We're also giving you the intact forest, before...

Hey everyone.
Thanks for all the ideas - we were inundated with suggestions and our shortlist was not very short at all! You're all such a creative bunch!
First, we want to say that because we wanted to only create interiors, and not change the exterior map, some of the ideas, whilst awesome, wouldn't have worked with this limitation. One such idea is the Lighthouse.
However, because literally loads of you suggested it, we've decided that a Lighthouse version of this map wil...

Hey everyone,
Preview time! If you recall, at the start of this month we asked you to pick which St Gerrin city location you wanted us to make next, and you picked the Blackrose Pit theatre.
It was lots of fun making this. We've based it on a late medieval/renaissance style theatre, with a standing area around the stage, benches on higher areas for those willing to pay, and suitable backstage areas and wings.
Hope it useful in your adventures! It'll be in ...

Hey everyone,
The Map of the Month for April is the Dark Wizard Guild, with two levels. The surface is an intricate henge of standing stones, and the lower level is the guild itself. For the alt-version, you chose to turn the lowest level into an Arcane Prison for extra-planar creatures and wizards.
This should be very useful for imprisoning any annoying wizards or powerful creatures - just be careful you don't mess with the wards! It would be terrible if something escaped...

Hey everyone,
We've been working hard on a new Modular set, and we're really happy that it's now out and on Drivethru. The idea came to us after one of you suggested doing a Library as a Third Map or Alt-Version, and we loved the thought of making it as a Modular kit, so you could make it exactly how you wanted, and as large and expansive as needed.
So, a brand new Modular Kit!

We thought it would be fun to revisit the desert-city of Eyno Bleside and make another set that joins up with the Market that was February's reward.
This one is a military outpost/compound set in the middle of the city. It sits above the Market from February, and is a seamless join. We've also done interior overlays of the two buildings in the compound, with rooms for the troopers stationed there, and a cell for prisoners.
This 30x30 map will b...

Hey everyone,
Thanks for all the ideas as to the alt-version of the Dark Wizard Guild. Lots of lovely creative suggestions. We've picked 6 that we think would work well with the stone-circle upper level, but give you a different encounter.

- Haunted Guild - after a summoning went wrong, the Dark Guild is abandoned and haunted
- The King's Barrow - burial mound for King and followers, gritty, catacomb...

Hey everyone,
We thought we'd do something a little special for the next Map of the Month - so we've done a two-level map!
The Guild of the Dark Wizards is a pair of 30x30 maps. The surface has a creepy landscape, dominated by concentric circles of standing stones. If you know the right incantations though a set of stairs opens in the middle which leads down to a sinister Dark Wizard guild!
