Hide your Kit-Kats, hide your Whatchamacallits!

Takai is keeping to her word, and systematically treating herself to every piece of candy in Stormwind - which in turn is escalating her above the rooftops, the towers of the keep... And soon maybe even the clouds!

Can the city contain a candy-consuming cutie of such colossal proportions?

The winner for this month's Patron's Choice was to see some Alice-In-Wonderland themed growth - and since Hollow's End started yesterday on World of Warcraft, I decided to spend a couple of days working on this to celebrate it properly.

Inktober - Day 18 - The Reason for the Season (1)

Hey folks!

So I'll preface this by stating that the winner of this month's Patron's choice was Wonderland: 'Eat Me' Candies in Abundance (by a single vote!)... And since today is the start of Hollow's End in WoW, I thought I would mix it up a bit.

I don't think they have these anymore, but I remember a time when this meant there would soon be an abundance of tasty treats that would make the consumer larger (and oranger).

Inktober - Day 10 - I Mosh You Too

So I finally got around to doing a sequel to Day 6's drawing! This one took a few tries to get right, but I'm really happy with the end product. I feel like I'm finally starting to feel like I understand how paper and pencil work again (I still miss zoom).

I'm going to be putting the Patron's Choice poll up tomorrow hopefully, I meant to do it earlier, but I sank too much time into the shading here. ...

Inktober - Day 9 - Hay Ride

So I cheated, I liked this one so much I digitally inked it today. I should have wised up and resized the canvas after importing it, but I didn't, so the lines came out very thin... Which could be cool when I color it, who knows! Maybe it'll open up a whole new world for me. :D

Anyhow, the theme here is that it's tradition in town that the hay ride at the annual fall festival is run by the town's earth ponies. Unfortunately, most of them are out with the flu, which means that Cee's left to pul...

I want to apologize for the length of time it took to finish this page. There were a few months where I was debating taking an indefinite hiatus due to the sheer amount of bad juju happening - but I didn't. I'm still here, and even though I can't say this is on schedule with what I was thinking, I'm going to try to move forward on the next page ...

So no ink today - I got the sketch done and I liked it too much - I really want to finish this properly, so I'm working on lining it digitally. Hopefully I'll have some good progress to share tomorrow!

Inktober - Day 7 - Pizza Night

I had a lot of ideas what I was going to draw tonight - this wasn't it.

You can guess that a girl Takai's size needs more than a couple of slices to sate her appetite. ^_^;

Inktober - Day 6 - I Mosh You

"I mosh you."

It started as a typo in Takai's text message, and has since evolved into an entirely new verb (one that we have started using daily). 

Mosh (verb \ˈmäsh\)

1. The bestest, strongest hug, an expression of the deepest love for another.

2. To engage in uninhibited, often frenzied activities (as intentional collision) with others near the stage at a rock concert.

So, it's kind of like a crash-hug. I think. ^__^

Turns out that 16th century alchemists have the coolest hats! I did a liiiittle bit of cleanup on this one because I totally jacked the mouth up and my whiteout pen is dried up.

Inktober - 10/1 - Introduction

Hi folks!

So a good friend of mine is doing Inktober, and she convinced me to go ahead and give it a shot too! What to expect - a bunch of random sketches with almost no cohesive theme. I'm going to try drawing something every day, but there's no promises. I'll probably do this month's Patron's choice doodle (which all you $10 supporters should be sending ideas in for NOW) in this style, too, so look forward to that!

PC August - Sand, Surf and Volleyball

One of the requirements for a proper beach party is sand volleyball... Which is a little hard to when three of the four players keep changing their size and unbalancing the teams.
