Vault - GIF - Getting Out of the House

So I was tinkering with a doodle this morning and started doing a little fixed-position comic of it... But I decided it made more sense as an animatic instead.

Tafyrae has somehow gotten herself wedged in the doorway. She's not saying how, but Shortcake is pretty sure she snuck into the kitchen for a midnight snack and ended up too big to get back out again.

Shortcake has decided to take charge of the situation and free her the only way he knows how, but things don't go exactly ...

I did this sketch of Taurson's characters Bagel and Coffee like a year ago , and since their birthday is tomorrow, I wanted to go and polish it up!

Vault - Getting Into the Role

Tafyrae tried on a maid outfit, and then decided to have a little fun with the role. It's kind of fun drawing her like this, since I think she's the most dominant character I draw. It adds for some interesting dynamics that I would like to explore more.

Completed - Take a Seat

Tafyrae's prepared a little surprise for her and Shortcake's date... She's rented out the local inn, ordered some appetizers and brews from the kitchen, and made herself comfortable while she waited for Shortcake to arrive. Very comfortable.

It looks like Shortcake will have quite a night ahead of him.

Think Small Thoughts

Sometimes, Takai just has to wait for her size to go back to something more manageable... Sometimes, just standing still and trying not to cause a commotion is a challenge all on it's own. This is one of those times.

I was doodling this morning and went looking for a background reference, and then in the end, I decided to remove the lines and see how it'd look just doing some light photo manipulation for the background instead! (Because I realized the alternative was drawing 9,000,000 building...

PC - Ship Shape

 Swimsuit Edition: Takai's Riverside Troubles 

Hi folks! This month's Patron's Choice (besides the remaining images from the second volume of The Guide) was a request for Takai in some swimwear. Well, we all know what happens when Takai comes into contact with water. ^_^;

It's a pretty big river, so she could get pretty large before this is over. (I'm not even going to estimate here - that container ship is huge o_o; )

Curvyclysm

Hi folks!

Well, I was looking at dA and realized I was a little behind at posting my Patron's Choice images up there. And when I realized that one of the next ones to go up was this comic, I was a little disappointed in the quality looking back, especially when I had so much fun with the expressions and the poses.

So here we go, cleaned up and ready for the world. I hope you guys like this little 'remaster'!

What a Catch (Wallpaper)

I decided to spend an hour last night colorizing the lineart and cleaning things up, so I think this one's ready to go! Thank you everybody who came by yesterday to watch me wrap up the shading on this!

Also, I realized it was really close to a wallpaper size, so I went ahead and made it 1920x1080 so I could get a new wallpaper out of it! If anybody would like a different resolution of it, leave a comment and I'll try to export a version for you!

Vault - More Where That Came From

She got all that height off a single bite, and there's a lot more where that came from. 

I was looking for a braid reference for that image I was working on earlier today (which I will definitely upload soon as I figure out the hair), and Takai saw this and was ADAMANT that I uploaded it, since I was pretty sure I'd never shared it really.

Just have to get the words on this one! It's important to remember that what's appropriate at your normal height might not be appropriate at larger sizes!

Today I woke up feeling like death (hence the lack of a stream) but I did sit down this afternoon to finish up this little doodle I started the other day.

Sometimes, Takai likes to really emphasize the difference in scale. ^_^

I wanted to draw Tafyrae, and the chat voted on seeing a top-heavy version over a bottom-heavy version, so here we are! Large sizes like this are still really awkward and hard to do. >_<

A little sketch of Tea and Cee in the clearing surrounding their barn. I like the pose a lot here, but there is pretty much zero chance of me getting the energy to draw all those trees here with the proper perspective. XD

Chandra

So I had been wanting to try drawing PargaFarn's character Chandra, and Saturday morning they were the only one in the stream for a while, so I decided to go ahead and give it a shot!

She was a lot of fun to draw, and I'm really happy with a lot of the way this picture came out! ^_^

Closer than Ever

Hi folks! So while I didn't want to fully color this, I did want to play with some effects I recently learned about as far as adding texture and depth to images. I think I'm finally ready to call it done though - I learned a few things, and I successfully redrew something from ages ago. I'm happy I got to do this - Takai will have to suggest some more redraws at some point! :)
