Feedback on 1.8.1

Hi guys, I know I've only just released last night but could you comment on this post if you've installed the latest version. One of my patrons has experienced that the new version doesn't open. I need to try and work out what that might be so it would be useful if I can determine if this is an isolated issue or across more users.

If you could confirm that you've upgraded from an older version to 1.8.1 and whether its worked fine or you've got issues then that would be great.

Pornspective 1.8.1 has arrived!

Hi Guys, it's that time of the month again and here's the latest version for you to enjoy. This time I've included a new results view to show off the cover art better if you've started to add cover art. Underneath I've refactored much of the framework for displaying results and information ready for a very slick Netflix/Amazon Prime style browser that will be in 1.9.0.

Slicker with Shortcuts!

Hi Guys, I wanted to start dropping in some tips on how to get more out of Pornspective and highlight functionality that you might not be aware of (unless you've read the help from start to finish!).

Anyway, shortcuts are a great way of whizzing around the application. Some key ones :-

CTRL+S = Save

CTRL+Z = Clear all filters

CTRL+P = People Selector

CTRL+O = Studio Selector

CTRL+I = Appearance and Action Selector

CTRL+A = Associated Tags Selector

Pornspective 1.8 is here!

Hi guys, had a few last minute issues with the import of tags but managed to sort. Everything else tested okay and looks like a really good build, probably the best yet! There's been a few changes to the core engine so I recommend making a backup of your existing settings (using the backup feature in Pornspective) before you have a good play with this version.

Don't forget to check the Release Notes within the Help section for a list of everything that is included in this release.

Almost completed Testing for 1.8.0

Hi Guys, Pornspective 1.8.0 is almost here. I've got a good solid build and just testing to ensure I've not broken anything. Hi Guys. a quick update. As you know I'm now in the middle of Pornspective 1.8 where I'll introduce other media types that are not file based i.e. DVD library. I'm also modifying the engine to not edit filenames as an option for you to control.

Just some small improvements this time as I've been working behind the scenes on the AI tagging system which is going well but is taking time to keep training the AI model to recognise acts and appearances. Machine Learning and AI Tagging, but first some fixes

Hi guys, I've had a few bugs raised to me over the last few days so I've been working on a new version this weekend with hopefully most of them fixed. I've also included some new features such as ability to add your own groups for tags and to turn off the imagesets feature so all images are treated singularly. Pornspective 1.7 available for download

Hi guys, it's here, version 1.7 is available for you to download, install and enjoy! As mentioned in previous posts this version now has two options for installing, the classic installer or if you prefer a portable installer which means you can run the application from a portable drive or hidden folder - whatever you wish! Hi guys, I've now completed the remaining development needed for Pornspective to be able to run as a standalone and portable application rather than be installed and therefore not very discreet. Pornspective 1.6.1

Guys, I missed out the twitter plugin in 1.6 due to a setting on the installer build. 1.6.1 is a quick build for this missing plugin. However at the same time I've swapped the splash screen logo to be a bit more professional and added some nice features into the image editor (for images and fanart).

Pornspective 1.6 has finally arrived!

Hi Guys, as promised this week I'd get a new version out. 1.6 has a few nice things in it, a getting started screen, ability to import and export tags, twitter feed plugin and some fixes to the FreeOnes plugins.

The import and export of tags is just an interim step to a cloud based sharing of tags that I've got planned. I'll post some exports of my best tags so you can import them into your systems if you wish. I'll do this over the next day or so.

Hi Guys, just wanted to drop another update by way of a post. Been working on 1.6 most of last week but hit a few issues that I didn't expect. That's delayed my release by a few days as want to make sure I don't publish low quality. Hoping though to get 1.6 out during this next week and will drop you all a personal message when I do.
