Almost done with Zera's Script, it ties in nicely to just before things heat up in the game

Neph lays seige on Earth.

Guys, i've been working on a lot of levels and felt it was time to share how things are going on; so bare in mind that this level will be about 2 hours long and a ton more polish to be added, bugs removed etc.

Huge RTS improvement: Patreons only

I finally managed to get code to generate perlin noise the right way.

Also what you are looking at is an early Set-Piece battle (still in dev) but you'll get tons of options to overload cannons, target specific ships etc. Its a different kind of experience that happens during RPG; a fast rapid flyby where you unload at each other and your performance could unlock burner re-inforcements, ammo drops and orbital strikes.

I'll improve and add variations, so some might be orbital...

Hybrid RPG-Visual Novel

I've got the code now that for certain scenes shows both VN and RPG together.

This can be for a special, romantic and intimate scene; which adds more atmosphere, it can sometimes even snap to full VN and back giving impact.

Or it can be in certain RPG battle scenes, where you say fire a shot, throw a punch, or maybe a bridge explodes and the action happens in slow-mo; or you have to press a button just at the right time to make a special scene (i.e. summon) happen.

Assets: Kryptosis Lab and the first Real Sniper

Just a look at some more assets, (I've got so many getting done daily). But that girl in the middle, she's the first real sniper you can fight (maybe eventually recruit).

But you'll actually get to do sniper battles with a gunbarrel POV, should be fun.

Guys, you know me, the channel is 100% drone commander: but Dying Breed! The maker of the game is a really good pal of mine, we encouraged each other as we built our games; i'm so proud for him rn!

Dying breed started about 4 years ago, with a small team of guys focused on bringing back the classics; i'm excited to give it a go!

I forgot to say I think i've got the VA for Gia, I made her put tissue up her nose to simulate a broken nose and it worked really well 😅

When i re-do this scene i have an amazing idea, so it wont be in VN, but hybrid VN. Part VN (so you see her whole body) part Pixelart so you see the gym.

Right now I post daily and source from a mix of my latest works and some older stuff to keep everyone in the loop.

Full RTS battle (early mission, still work in progress; but it's been a while since is shared any RTS stuff)

Second song is Frank klepaki. Remember much will change, the stars, bg for example. I've yet to put Chloe and Liv's voices in. And this is an early mission so its a bit of a cake walk. but i'll likely make it a tad harder, and i didn't enforce deploying field flatteners yet.

I created a battle terminal that lets me setup all various battle conditions, it's mostly for debugging and the foundation for my next big step which is creating a delicious gameloop that will keep you hooked. For now its just mindless carnage and mayhem with LOTS of bugs, still i wanted to share this with you.
