Game Project Progress #2: Buttons & Boobs

Game Progress #1: Text Strings

Hey ladies. 

One night I couldn't sleep and decided to start working on a game. I had the idea for a simple visual novel/point and click game because I wanted to write some dumb stuff and do some sprite animations because they're fun. The best way I could showcase them together is with something interactive. So I figured a game would be the best direction to go in. Anyway I had a lot of fun working on this one, a good chunk of it was done while camping for Tokonatsu Festival. I tried to render it with mostly yellow and purple to get the lighting to look right. Also experimenting with subtle gradients to make things appear less flat, you can see this mostly on the hair and the concrete. I left the captoin out in the final image...

Meet The Soldier: Reanimated Project Files (PSD/CSP/Flash)

Here are the files for Meet The Soldier Reanimated. This includes the background elements, prefabricated assets and the animation cycles. You get to see how messy animating stuff in CSP can be. Since I don't have CSP EX the animation had to be split into 2 timelines as the standard version only lets you do up to 24 frames per timeline and the animation in total has 29. Pretty annoying.

The Rocket Launcher decays in quality because I rotated it so much.

Meet The Soldier Reanimated - Progress Gifs

This is probably the most expensive piece of animation I've done to date. Here's a few gifs I have saved of the various stages this thing went though. I sketched it out in Flash because the tools are quicker to work with, then moved the project over to Clip Studio Paint then finally Resolve to comp the elements all together. The end goal was to create something that stayed on model and to translate how TF2 would look in 2D while taking influence from 80s to 90's Saturday morning cartoons.

Virtual Lucy Application

This is an application I made for for my Twitch Streams, It was built in Clickteam Fusion because I can't program for shit. Some Anti-Viruses might throw a tantrum when you try to open the applications, I have no idea why that is, but I can assure you it's fine.
